truth be told i haven't seen boruto but just read some stuff on wiki and saw some clips on youtube... but boruto will make an appearance at the end of the story... what happens at that time... we'll have to wait and see

honestly? Boruto felt very forced. Naruto ended with a satisfying conclusion tying everything up. How come some of the best information gatherers never learnt of the antagonist organization from Boruto? You really telling me Jiraiya, Danzo, Orochimaru etc. never caught a whiff of them? Pull the other leg please. The otsustsuki villains were also weird, like it's explicitly stated that Momoshiki is stronger than Kaguya... But everyone with a lick of sense knows how much bs that is. So yeah just let's not go there imho.

If you're talking about the technology stuff then yes absolutely. They will only appear near the 4th war or after it. And it won't be anywhere near advanced as shown in Boruto.

Personaly i absolutly dont like boruto, naruto ended with that one movie for me xD just the whole otsutsuki stuff and so on... but in a more objective matter: i think it whould be not good to include buroto stuff that early because its rly.. Lets call it advanced stuff (new technologie and all) I think it whould be early enough to introduce it after the ninja war ^^

I’d rather not have any Otsutsuki tbh. I hated the “actually, this is the real mastermind!!!” reveals happening over and over again in Shippuden, and for it to end with some alien princess was just…ugh.

I feel like Boruto contains a lot of world building that makes what happened in Naruto more understandable, also the quick tech progression when the villages are cooperating is rather telling.

Boruto quickly felt like a retcon for all the mistakes or incomplete ideas he had during Naruto to me. Also felt like it turned it from a fantasy/action to almost a science fiction/occupation story. So while I don't mind the characters of Boruto as a whole I don't like the plot.

The whole space ninjas harvesting worlds/stealing the worlds magic arc was just too much for me. Oversimplified I know. I enjoyed the series up until the end of the Pein Arc in Shippuden. Even that started turning into a bit too much DBZ fighting, instead of ninjas with superpowers.
