Daichi is just sparring and giving Lee some points so he could improve at the moment. And he won't be an active teacher. That job belongs to the Jonin afterall... Well... We'll see what happens after he gets a team.

I thought Daichi would receive the teaching skill. But I guess it takes more than a little sparing help to get that potentially hard to grind skill good for teaching Reo in the future. Btw, I imagine the skill effect has two points 1. The level of the skill itself 2. The level of the skill he wants to teach. I am looking forward to it and the potential ripples. And Daichi training or teaching his teammates so they survive the forest. I am looking forward to it and the potential ripples. Have to disagree. If we put might dai in Hashirama's shoes I don't think he could have achieved the same results. Might dai is someone worthy of respect. Of that there is no doubt. But even if he had the same advantages as Hashirama Senju i don't think he could have made such a big difference. The chances that Dai would have used all that power for the protection of his clan and his clan alone would be greater than trying to join two warring clans and building a village. And that's not all. People like might dai. They can become strong through hardwork but being charismatic... That's an entirely different thing.

Hashirama had a stronger protagonist halo than naruto lmao. He had everything going for him. He was the incarnation of Ashura, possess arguably the most powerful kekkei genkai specifically designed to take down bijuus, an insane chakra volume, access to senjutsu, born into the most prestigious clan with a genius brother who perfectly made up for what he lacked, born to be cherished and respected and so much more. Did he briefly achieve peace before his dream was completely dashed and war became even more terrifying with bijuus on the chessboard? Sure. He was designed and born to be the most powerful, he had every single advantage, and if this was a game, he had like every perk lmao. He was toying with Madara just so he could convince him to join his side. But Might Dai? He was the complete opposite, born with nearly all disadvantages going for him, his path filled with nothing but roadblocks and obstacles. He was a civilian so he didn’t have resources be it money or ninja arts, he wasn’t born to be cherished and respected, his chakra was severely lacking, he was alone (from what we saw) with no backing, and had to work to the bone just to support himself and his son, not to mention that in his line of work he was constantly belittled, made fun of and seen as garbage. Yet, he changed that, he was ambushed by the 7 Mist Swordsman, and still managed to kill 4 of them to protect his son, give him a chance to live, and hopefully be inspired to be better than himself. Can even Hiruzen do that? Even if he can, he’d probably have a hell of a time too, but the Eternal Genin managed to accomplish that. He never gave up, never relent, and never even remotely resent the others for belittling him which he had every right to. He just worked, worked, and worked. Not for glory, not for pettiness, not for honor, or pride. But to give himself and his family a better future, to not embarrass his son, and to protect his last remaining family. Yes. The magnitude of achievement between the two is different. But if we consider the context and their origins, honestly, at least to me Might Dai’s story and accomplishment meant so much more.

Thats debatable. Im not saying Might Duy learning 8 gates on his own isnt immpressive but... Hashirama changed an era.

Rakeido

Honestly, Might Dai’s accomplishment was arguably more impressive than Hashirama’s given their own circumstances
