Step-by-step: Peach Blush Palette! πβ¨

I come to you with this tutorial about my favorite palette to do blush to my characters! This sample character has very light skin, so the tones and colors are mostly about these 5 colors, which are like a peach toneβ¨. These files are attached at the bottom of this post, so you can download them and experiment with the skin of your characters!π₯°
β¨β¨β¨β¨β¨β¨β¨β¨β¨β¨β¨β¨β¨β¨β¨β¨β¨β¨β¨β¨β¨β¨β¨β¨β¨β¨β¨β¨
- Iβve put the steps of the "blush" process below so keep on reading for a little description of each step! π
- Step 1 - Base Color Skin.- In this part, with the Dropper tool we will pick the signed color of the palette, and cover all the character's skinβ¨
- Step 2- Blush One- Now, we will start to give some color to it! Take the second color, and with a smooth and rounded brush, we'll place soft touches on the more delicate parts of the character and borders, as you can see in the example. I also put blush on the cheeks, starting from the corner to the center of the face. A little over the nose, on the front, and under the eyebrows. Try to make it all look soft and blurred.β¨
- Step 3- Selective Blush. With the third color of the palette, we'll use again the same soft and rounded brush, to give some more intense pink touches to the parts where the blush of the number two is more concentrated. This is to give more color variety and avoid a flat feel.π
- Step 4- Blush Shadows. We'll use the same color again! And with this one, I use a brush called PbZ.42, which you can find here. Next, I add lines where more shadow should be on the character, like the holes. I also add a shadow under the inferior eyelids up to half. In the line of the eyelid, and also behind the hair locks, to simulate its shadow. And because it's part of my style, I also put on the tears and a little on the chest shape.π
- Step 5- Lips. Lastly! My favorite part, are the lips. For this, we'll use the penultimate color as a base for all the lips color, and we will color them with a brush of soft edges. And now, with the last color, we'll paint the central part of the lips, right in the middle. I like to add this touch, since it makes them look more deepp and striking. And DONE!βοΈβ¨
