Chapter 3: Hiking Day
I woke up first. The air was less cold today. I could see the cloudless sky above our tent through the window Max had opened. It was a dark blue. I knew when I first opened my eyes that I wasn’t at home, even before I remembered where I was. I watched Max sleep for a minute while I thought about what I was going to do. I could smell the male essence coming from our bag, the dried saliva and jizz from the night before.
I had to pee, but knew he would wake up if I got out of the sleeping bag. So, I just held it for another minute until he stirred.
“Hey,” he said groggily, opening one eye.
“Hey,” I said, turning on my side to face him.
“So what was up with you last night?” he said plainly as he blinked slowly at me.
“Me?” I said.
“Um… yeah?” he said, confused. “You put my hand on your dick and asked me to suck you off.”
“After you tried to grab my ass!” I whisper-yelled.
“I was pushing you away from me!” he exclaimed back.
“Yeah right! After you humped me the night before until you jizzed on my ass!” I had said that part a little too loudly. We both looked around nervously to see if anyone would hear.
“What the fuck are you talking about??” he said sternly.
“You mean you really don’t remember that?” I said, panicked.
He opened his eyes wide and shook his head. “No.”
“Ohhhhh shit,” I said with another long exhale. “I thought you were like… doing gay stuff with me. Especially after you kept touching me all day yesterday.”
“I was just messing with you,” he said, “because you were acting weird around me!”
“Well now you know why!” I said back, shaking my head.
Before we could even digest the revelations, in came Trent again to hump us awake. He mounted me and did his humping dog routine before I could even react. I just looked at Max as he smirked at me.
The rest of the day, the tension had shifted in a way. I still felt confused, like my brain kept tripping over itself trying to catch up with whatever was going on between us. Max acted cool with me, almost affectionate in this weird, secret way.
He kept drifting closer whenever we stopped to rest. Not enough for the guys to notice, but enough that I kept feeling the heat from his shoulder or the brush of his arm. Once, when we stepped over a fallen branch at the same time, his hand landed on my lower back to steady me. He pulled it away fast, but not before I felt the firmness of his palm and the way he hesitated for half a second.
He joked with the others like nothing was different, but every so often he’d glance at me with this playful look that sat in my stomach. It felt like he knew something I didn’t, like I was the one catching up while he already understood whatever was going on between us. I felt somewhat irritated at him, even though he was literally being nice. Part of me was just rejecting the pleasant feeling I had when I thought about him.
At one point, while the group paused to check the map, he reached out and tugged a leaf out of my hair. It was simple and quick. But his fingers combed through my hair for a second, and I didn’t move away. I looked at him, and he smirked. It was affectionate.
When no one was looking, he smacked my ass once. Not hard. More like he was laying claim on me. Or just trying to push a button. Our tension had always been somewhat competitive, and I realized that it hadn’t gone away just because we got off together in the tent, no matter how gay it ended up being. The gay jokes and touching were a constant presence on the wrestling team, but I had never actually done something gay before, or even had feelings like that. Now I couldn’t get the visual of Max’s crotch out of my head. I pictured it hovering in front of my face. I remembered the smell. It was dense in a way, and masculine. It embodied the tension I had felt with him for years. I liked thinking about it, in such a weird way. It was like having my first crush again. It was confusing, and it was frustrating, and it was sexual.
At one point the guys were rough housing, and I ended up falling off a rock ledge. It wasn’t really anyone’s fault, but I felt like I almost died. My head was inches from a huge spiky rock when I hit the ground, and the jolt knocked the air out of me. I lay there for a second, stunned, with dirt on my tongue and my heart racing hard in my chest. When I pushed myself up, I realized my hoodie and t-shirt had torn right down the middle, exposing my body. They were barely hanging off my neck by a light string, stretched open enough that the cold air hit my stomach and chest fast. I felt every pair of eyes on me as I stood, half embarrassed and half amped up from the impact, like my body was charged from how close the fall had been.
“Fuckkk,” I groaned, starting my crawl up the steep surface to return to the group. Dirt scraped across my chest and stomach as I pulled myself up, and the cold air bit at my skin fast. They were looking down at me, half laughing at me and half sweating, hoping I wasn’t actually hurt. I was fine, but I was basically half naked. When I tore the rest of my shredded shirt and hoodie off my body, the air hit me hard enough that my nipples tightened instantly.
“That sucks,” Trent said, looking kind of sorry for me. “I only have my one sweatshirt or I’d give you something.”
I looked around, waiting for someone else to step up, but the group was already starting to move on. No one seemed eager to peel off a layer. I figured I’d just have to tough it out, barebacking it with the guys and pretending the cold wasn’t digging into my bones.
Then I heard Max’s voice behind me.
“Here,” he said, closer than I realized.
I turned and saw him holding out his hoodie. He was in a tight t-shirt now, and I could see the cold was already getting to him. His nipples were as hard as mine under the fabric, sticking up prominently, and goosebumps had formed up his arms. His breath came out in little white puffs. He looked uncomfortable, but stubborn about it.
“You’re gonna freeze,” I said, a shy smile creeping across my face even though I tried to hide it.
“No, take it,” he said, shoving the hoodie into my hands like he didn’t want me to argue. “I’m good.”
But he wasn’t. I saw the way his shoulders tensed from the cold, the faint shake when he exhaled. His shirt clung to his chest in a way that made it obvious how tight his pecs were, how defined his torso had gotten this season. He jogged back to the front of the group before I could thank him, pretending he wasn’t freezing.
I slid the hoodie on fast. His warmth wrapped around me, soaking into my skin. It felt like stepping into the sleeping bag again, like stepping back into something I shouldn’t like as much as I did. It was pure comfort.
The fabric brushed my chest and stomach, and I caught the scent of him right away. Sweat, trees, deodorant, whatever body wash he used, and his own unique essence mixed in.
I swallowed.
No one needed to know how long I kept my hands inside the hoodie, holding it against my body like I was hugging it. When I caught myself spending too much time inside, I finally popped my head out and saw that the group had gotten ahead of me, leaving me behind. I was starting to realize how much I enjoyed his smell, and what it meant to me.
Fuck, I thought to myself, I’m cooked.
—[]—
When we kept walking, I stayed behind him for a bit. His shirt rode up every time he stepped over a branch, showing the small of his back, the top line of his underwear waistband, and the taper of his waist. I kept looking even when I told myself not to.
At one point he glanced back at me, like he felt me staring. He smirked for a split second before facing forward again.
My stomach flipped.
Throughout the rest of the hike, we jogged intermittently, trying to stay warm, and it actually worked. I even got a bit of sweat in his hoodie.
We stopped for a lunch break at a clearing.
“I gotta piss,” Max said nonchalantly in front of everyone, before turning to me. “Come with?”
I followed along passively, figuring he wanted to talk or something. I knew inside that it wasn’t just about having company while he took a piss, but I tried not to think too hard about that.
We walked to a second clearing, and he stepped a few feet away from me and faced a tree. When he pulled his pants down just enough, the top of his ass showed again, round and muscular. It jiggled slightly when he adjusted his stance. I stared for too long before catching myself. His skin looked smooth and warm even in the cold air.
I didn't mean to start comparing our asses, but I did. Mine had gotten bigger over the last year from lifting, but his had this perfect shape that made it hard not to look. He looked like a male model. Even straight guys have to look at it and say, "Damn, nice."
While I was caught in that thought, he finished pissing and turned back around. His dick was hanging out, heavy and relaxed, and I accidentally glanced at it before yanking my eyes away. Heat rushed up my neck fast. I checked around us, terrified someone saw.
“The fuck are you doing?” I said in a hushed tone, unable to hide the panic.
“It’s just us,” he said casually, like this was nothing. He tilted his hips a little, letting his big dingus sway. “You wanna get off again?”
“No, you idiot!” I said, heat rising in my cheeks. “You’re the gay one, dude.”
His expression tightened like I actually hit a nerve, but he covered it fast with that smug grin he always used when he didn’t want me to know something bothered him. He stepped a little closer, still holding himself in his hand.
“Who’s the one who said, ‘suck me, please’ last night?” he said quietly, leaning in, a few inches from my face. I could smell his minty gum. “If anything, you owe me one.”
“I paid you back last night. Twice, according to you,” I shot back. My voice cracked slightly, and he noticed. His grin widened. I could see in his face that he was having the same thoughts as I was. Both our minds flashed with the memory of last night’s nude events, the way we dragged release out of each other with messy throats and frantic groping, our bodies shaking while we tried to stay quiet. The details were blurred now. I shivered with the feeling of how close we had been, how intense it got, how hard we both lost control while we used each other. How good it felt.
He rolled his eyes, pretending he wasn’t watching the front of my shorts slowly tent up. I tried to shift my stance like that would hide it, but nothing about my body was cooperating. My mind just kept replaying it. My heart pounded hard enough that I felt it in my throat.
He lifted his hips again, wiggling his thickening meat rod up and down. He knew exactly what he was doing to me. Blood was flowing swiftly into it now, making it hang lower and heavier as it straightened out. He didn’t even pretend not to show off.
“You wanna know how Melanie got me to fuck her?” he said with a smirk.
My whole body tensed. I perked up without meaning to, every insecure part of me locking onto that name. Melanie. The girl I liked. The girl he had hooked up with, knowing that I had set my sights on her. The girl he showed me all those pics of, flexing over her with his cock pressed against her stomach.
“What do you mean?” I said, narrowing my eyes. “As if you weren’t the one hitting on her.”
“Sure,” he said, like he was trying to think about how to say what he was thinking, “But it wasn’t that simple.”
“So… what happened?” I said, adjusting my dick in my pants. He pretended not to notice, but his eyes flicked down for a second before snapping back up. It made my throat tighten.
“Well,” he started, dragging the word out slowly, “You know how she likes to start by giving head? Oh well… I guess you don’t.”
I exhaled hard, annoyed but also weirdly affected by how casually he said it. He still had to talk shit, even when we were alone like this, even when our dicks were already out. It was familiar, and it was normally a frustration, but it landed different now. I chuckled at him as he continued.
“I came in her mouth really quickly.”
“Yeah?” I said. My voice came out low. I couldn’t hide the interest.
It surprised me how honest he was being. Max bragging was normal. Max admitting something real wasn’t. And something about him being exposed made my stomach flip.
He lifted his hand and wrapped it around himself again, giving a slow, deliberate stroke from the base to the tip. The skin along his shaft pulled tight with the motion, and a faint shine formed at the head. When I saw him starting to properly stroke himself, something in me eased past the point of no return. I pulled mine out too, my hand wrapping around my shaft before I could talk myself out of it.
Fuck it.
“Then I promised her it was gonna be so hot in the second round. I told her I was gonna go full performance mode on her pussy, long dick style.”
“Fuck,” I muttered. My breath came out uneven, and his chest rose faster, his thick dick at its maximum girth.
He went on. “Back shots for days and all that. She was grabbing my waist, begging for it.”
His hand slowed on his shaft, gripping tightly. I could tell he was edging himself already. I slowed my stroking too, subconsciously matching his pace. The silence between us felt heavy for a moment.
“And then?” I insisted, leaning forward a bit. I felt stupidly eager, but I needed to hear what happened.
He let out a long breath.
“I couldn’t get hard,” he sighed. “I had blown my whole load on the first round. I felt like a limp dick little bitch. She was staring at me like… ‘that’s it?’”
His tone was honest. It made something inside me soften, while my dick stayed hard as a diamond.
“You choked,” I said, chuckling, trying to lighten the embarrassment he clearly still felt.
He shrugged it off, but not before his eyes flicked down to my hand again, watching me stroke myself while I listened to him. His expression changed, like the story wasn’t the point anymore. It hit me in the moment that I was the one getting him going.
"What finally got me hard" he said, rubbing a shiny drop of pre-cum into the bright red head of his dick, "was thinking about how much you probably wanted her. How bricked up you would be when I eventually showed you those pics. I pictured you there with me, your big cock out and helping me tear her apart, maybe even both of us stuffing her at the same time."
His balls bounced lightly now as he stroked himself in rough, eager pulls, his eyes locked on me and what I was doing to myself. I was working my own shaft, my breath uneven as I stared back at him.
"Fuck," I said with a heavy breath. "You thought about me to get hard."
"Basically, yeah," he said, stepping closer, his voice low as he closed the space between us.
I dropped to my knees before I even thought about it. One of my hands landed on his hips, warm and tense under my palms, and he gave this tiny breathy laugh like he had just been waiting for me to do this. My other hand stayed on my cock as his big, round knob head brushed my lips once, heavy and warm, and he sucked in a sharp breath. I had never seen it up close in broad daylight before, not this hard. The smell is what brought me back to the night before. It was masculinity incarnate. I wrapped my mouth around him and worked slow at first, trying to stay quiet, my jaw stretching around the thick shape of him while I listened to his breathing get into a steady pace, like he was meditating. He kept one hand in my hair, not pushing, just holding, like he wanted to steady himself.
“Holy shit,” he whispered. His voice cracked. He moaned, biting his lip like he was scared he would be too loud..
When he tugged lightly on my hair, I pulled off him, wiping my mouth with the back of my hand. His chest rose hard, like he was trying to catch up to what was happening. He turned me around fast and bent me forward, one hand gripping my hip. His other hand slid between us and he spit into his palm, spreading it along himself, the sound slick and unmistakable. I faced forward, bracing for what was about to happen. That one scene from Brokeback Mountain that I saw when I was too young flashed in my mind.
“Wait,” I whispered, but I did not move away. Not even a little.
He lined up with me and eased in slowly, inch by inch as I felt the most bizarre and surreal sensation of my life. My ass was being stretched, while my grip on my dick tightened. My breath caught as my body stretched around him, a tight pull followed by a deep warmth. It was a burning sensation that felt the perfect amount of wrong.
I was suddenly hyper aware that we weren’t that far from the group. We hadn’t thought this through, or at least I hadn’t. I buried my face in my arm so no one would hear me groan. He held still when he was fully inside, his fingers digging lightly into my waist like he was trying not to shake. The burn felt almost good at this point. I had never been so conflicted in my life.
“You ok?” he whispered.
“Yeah,” I breathed.
He started moving, slow at first, then deeper, his hips bumping my butt cheeks with steady pressure as he continued to spit down onto his shaft repeatedly. I closed my eyes and reached back to grab his hip, feeling his ass muscles tense every time he pushed in. The pressure filled me in a tense way that should have been uncomfortable, but I just wanted more of it. I gripped my dick and tried to hold off from cumming.
After a minute or so, he pressed in deeply, and I felt him throb. I thought he might cum, but instead he pulled all the way out slowly, almost like he was testing whether I would stop him. I turned to watch him as he climbed off me and turned around slowly to lean against a tree. His big, round globes of ass glistened in the sun with a shimmer of sweat he had worked up. He looked over his shoulder, breathing hard, his face flushed in a way I had never seen on him before.
His voice came out low, as he choked out between breaths, "Do me now." It sounded like he needed it.
I slid off my rock and jumped on him, quickly pressing my weight into him so I could give it back. He didn’t have any hair on his ass, and I lined up quickly, adding some spit and finding the spot that gave in when I pushed. I held my shaft, kissed the side of his neck, feeling him tense under my grip as I pressed just my throbbing tip into him, looking down to watch it stretch his hole, and popped it out. I felt his whole body jolt.
“Dude,” he gasped, grabbing a tree trunk for balance. His voice was low and shaky. “Fuck, wait, wait, that feels…” He swallowed hard. “Do that again.”
I did, a little deeper, and a little rougher. He let out a sound that sounded like pain, but his body said he wanted me to continue. It felt like the most manly moment of my life.
I gripped his hips as I let my throbbing shaft rest on his ass, feeling the way his muscles tightened under my hands. He pushed back once, a small motion, like he was begging me for more. I lined myself up and slid in, slowly and steadily inserting myself and feeling the warm sensation of his insides. His breath caught fast. His back arched slightly, sticking his ass out for me, and he let out this small whimpering sound that hit straight in my chest. I held onto him while I eased in deeper. His skin felt hot under my palms even in the cold air.
"Go," he muttered, barely getting the word out.
So I did. I started a steady rhythm, my hands groping his perky butt cheeks, pulling him back onto me. His breath came out in short bursts, and every time I pushed in, his body tightened around me. It made my head spin. Seeing him like that, open and wanting it, wiped out every thought except how good it felt to be that close to him.
At one point he reached back blindly, grabbing at my thigh like he needed something to hold onto. His fingers dug into my skin when I hit a spot that made him gasp. He looked over his shoulder again, eyes half-lidded, and whispered, "You can go harder."
I did exactly that. His moan came out louder, and he pressed his face into his arm to muffle himself. I hadn’t expected him to sound like that. His low grunts sounded like pain but I recognized them from myself. It made me lose whatever control I had left.
After a minute he shifted forward, pulling off me slowly, his breath shaking. He turned around and pushed me down lightly by the shoulders. "My turn again," he said, almost breathless. There was no hesitation in him now. He wanted back in, and the way he looked at me made my stomach twist.
I nodded without thinking. He pushed inside me again with a slow, careful drive, and my whole body tensed at the feeling. It was easier this time and I loved seeing his body while he did it. It was even better than the first time. I didn’t even try to hide the noise that escaped me. He gripped my hips, holding me steady, and built a rhythm again, deeper this time. My breath kept catching with each push. I wanted him just as much as he wanted me, even if I couldn’t say it out loud.
"You like it?" he whispered, even though he already knew the answer.
"Yeah," I said, barely able to get the word out. "Keep going."
We were so locked into each other that neither of us noticed the movement on a nearby rock at first. A rattlesnake slid out from a crack, its scales glinting. I froze for half a second. Max stayed buried against me, his breath hot against my shoulder.
“You see that?” I whispered.
“Yeah,” he whispered back, not pulling out.
But he didn’t stop. And I didn’t even want him to.
Nothing mattered except the way he held onto me and the way our bodies moved together like we had been doing this for years.
When we both got close, our pace got messy. He grabbed my dick out of my hands while he humped into me furiously.
I barely registered that the rattlesnake slithered away.
It started to actually hurt more as he sharply poked my insides, but I liked it. It was so strange. Our breaths were loud. His forehead fell down and pressed against my chest. He kissed my left pec and licked my nipple. My hands squeezed around his ass cheeks.
“I’m cumming,” he said, and I didn’t even respond, as he sped up his thrusts and his stroking of my shaft. I squirted up onto my chest and he leaned forward to lick it off as soon as it came out. My next shorts hit his chin and dribbled down my abs, as he suddenly moved his cummy mouth up to my face and shoving his tongue in my mouth. I held the back of his head and kissed him as he finished throbbing inside me. His cock fit perfectly at that moment, and nothing in the world could’ve pulled me away from him.
Our bodies shook as we let go of each other.
For a moment everything was quiet except our breathing. The rattlesnake was gone. Max rested his weight on my chest as I lowered my legs, trying to get feeling back into them, our chests rising hard.
Then we heard the guys calling our names in the distance.
He pulled out of me slowly. I exhaled long, steadying myself. We looked at each other, both of us red-faced, both of us trying not to smile. I felt him running out of my ass as I slid up my pants. I touched it and looked at my fingers. A clear, white fluid coated my finger. I played with it for a second and looked at Max.
“Round two later?” he whispered.
I smiled and pretended not to hear him, as I turned to run back to the group.
