That's fair. I think a lot of people saw the hilarious possibilities of Jesse playing a CK game and it kind of blinkered them to other considerations.

It's something people really need to bear in mind for future Fan Friday suggestions. We're talking about 40m-1h long videos at the most, if you know it's going to take longer than that to actually get into the game then it's really not a good fit for Fan Friday. For example I'd love to see Jesse play the cabaret club game in one of the Yakuza titles, but I know it would be far too much of a time commitment for him to get to the point where he could start them.

As long as you're having fun, take your time. If you get too frustrated or something, you can always put it aside and do something else. Excited to see the new office though!

Oh ya is so hard keeping a hold of your lands. Inheritance laws are mean. I get historically but damn every time my character dies. He has to go on a bloody path to regain it all from his brothers/sisters it’s a mess.

It's all the inheritance laws and titles, once you get the hang of those then only keeping diplomacy in check seems to be an issue imo (at least CK2). Hope you had fun with it.

I've never played any of the CK games before and while it is spooky, if you poke around you will learn a ton. It is dense with information however once things start clicking a lot falls into place pretty naturally.

I know nothing about the CK games but I honestly was a little concerned and suspected something like this would be the case when I saw it winning and people in the comments joking about spending an hour on it and not even getting to the actual game.
