🕑 Added 2017-11-27 19:33:27 +0000 UTC Hey gang, first off let me apologize for not having this video up earlier. We've been sitting on it for about a month due to reasons you'll see below. In early 2017, when I was going through a rough time of my own, I was asked to do a Make-A-Wish for an incredible young person named Talia. She was a gamer, who loved stuff like Dark Souls and For Honor - but also liked my stuff for some reason. I of course was obviously honored and flew to Seattle with Kristen for 2 days to spend with Talia and her family. We played games, went to Bungie, and recorded a whole bunch of it. I thought it would be amazing if we could use some of the footage and get Dan to make a Cox n' Crendor style animated video out of it.Sadly, during the process of making this video, Talia passed away. After talking with her family, we agreed to release it today on what would have been her 16th birthday. I'm honored and humbled to have been a part of her life and hope this video will give you some idea of how awesome she was.
Thanks for your patience, I know Dan has already started working on another one and we've got stickers coming for the $10+ patrons soon.

man seeing vids like this breaks my heart...in a good way cos ofc and that jesse has such a big heart for everyone of his fans. i do hope talia had alot of fun in that time. i know this may sound somber but somehow i hope dan could forever have her cartoon character appear in every cartoon he draws for jesse like a cameo somehow so she will never be forgotten and always be there peeping in on everything jesse does if that makes sense...
This was seriously amazing. I really want more videos of Jesse and Talia. That pout a big smile on my face, and a lump in my throat. Reminds me of a lot of my favorite students - geeky, smart, funny but will not put up with my old man shenanigans and opinions. "There's no such thing as bad pizza! Bad pizza is still pizza." "YES THERE IS, OH MY GOD, MR CROCKER!" I have actually had this conversation with students - but it was also about shwarma, or one time about nachos. I, like Jesse, am difficult to displease.
You know-- I think she was right, there is such a thing as bad pizza. I mean-- what if it's not cooked right, what if some crazy mad pizza scientist out there decides to combine the worst ingredients.... ewww.... what if you find hair in your pizza? Ack...
