Progress Update and Looking Ahead
🕑 Added 2024-06-24 01:21:49 +0000 UTCHope everyone's had an amazing weekend. I've just spent a solid few hours plugging away at the Asher script and it's almost ready to record. If I can get it done today, I'll record tonight, but realistically, based on my energy levels right now, I'll probably wrap this all up tomorrow.
Also I started running out of creative writing juice, so figured I'd do a little bit of prep for thumbnail work and this is a draft of what Asher might look like on the upcoming thumbnail for the YT preview. I just really wanna do things to him...
As a side note, I also started writing a little intro scene for Braden our new hockey jock. It's a cute concept, and I can't wait to drop it next month I think. I'll keep you posted! The summer months are actually looking really chill this year, so my plan (Hahahahaha!) is to get myself organized to the point where I can record most of my YT videos for the rest of the summer in the next couple of weeks to give me more time to focus on writing some awesome stories and scenarios to perform for you guys.
There are a few things I would like to accomplish over the next few months:
1 - I've been thinking about retooling the pricing on the tiers a little bit, to allow people to have a choice of whether they want access to hypno, adult stories, or both. That way if you only want one or the other, it would be cheaper.
2 - BearBoss merch. So many people love the logo, and especially in person, have been asking for hats and shirts and tanktops. This is still super early in the exploration phase, but if you're interested in something like this, let me know!
3 - Developing some new characters. I love our little stable, but I have so many ideas rattling around in my head.
4 - Trying to average more than 1 exclusive audio per tier a month moving forward. This might mean doing fewer YouTube audios, or putting aside some other projects, but I would love to record some more stuff for you. Each of the full audios takes a significant amount of time to write, record, and edit. You all know that I strive to make quality, engaging stories and not just some low-effort ramblefaps. This might mean getting some assistance to do some of the writing, but that's still up in the air.
5 - Live BearBoss coaching/hypno sessions. There's definitely been some demand for this, and it feels like it would be a natural next-step too. I'm not set up for this yet, and again, I'm just one man, with a full time job and a life outside of this fun world.
Honestly, the more I go along, the more I'm becoming convinced that maybe, just maybe, there's something good enough here to think about making the transition to full time creator at some point in the future. I'm not there yet, of course, and I really want to commit some more time to growing the audience and the content base before I take that leap of faith, but I think I'm at a point where I'm ready to add more effort into the content and the social media side of things so that I can position myself to be able to step back from my full time job at least 1 day a week, for example, and see how that goes.
I have to admit, despite the risqué nature of my content, I'm actually a pretty cautious guy who likes to plan ahead and and set myself up for success. Unfortunately, doing something like this is risky by nature. But holy hell would it be cool to be able to do this full time. And the fact that I'm able to even consider this as a possibility in the near-to-medium term is because of your support and trust in me. I want to make sure the value is there for you. I wouldn't be here without you, and you wouldn't here without me, after all.
