Getting teleported to the other side of the planet is a great idea and it would have taken a moment for the Scions to locate us even if we had lost our linkpearl, but it would have been breaking the lore if we could teleport back to Limsa from the new world, so they would have had to lock us in that region for a while or give us a summoning bell as soon as possible Introducing new characters from the ship while the scions struggle to find us would have indeed been a awesome way for a new story & characters and after we would strike down several bosses and enemies the word would spread around the world that we are kicking ass and taking names, this would attract anyone´s attention (especially the scions or even the main antagonist) and they could arrive with the full might of Eorzian alliance to rescue us from a dire situation, such as the ATTACK FROM THE SOLUTION 9 ROBOT ARMY
