I am starting slow to not put too much on my plate & setting cameos at $25 for 5 minutes. Depending on the triggers requested I’ll likely go above that time but I wanted to set an achievable baseline for myself to not feel overwhelmed, since I am still continuing with my YouTube channel and of course Patreon here! I film 12 videos monthly on average for both YouTube and Patreon & now adding Cameos to that I definitely want to start slow! I chose $25 because I want to utilize Cameo for all custom ASMR request rather than the Patreon $20 “Sponsor a video” tier, so I will be closing that tier off shortly. Due to the Apple App Store taking a large share of Cameo fees, I adjusted the price to $25, since I would receive I believe about half of that amount from cameo as my share, which I believe is fair!
*If you are interested in booking a Cameo, I highly suggest doing so through an internet browser instead of the app if you’re on an Apple device, since I get a significantly smaller share of the purchase when it is made through the app on Apple devices! So if you were wanting to book a cameo mainly to support me as a sort of “donation”, as some amazing folks have done in the past, that would be my recommendation if you have the ability! It’s a way to ensure that most of your money isn’t going to third-party handlers like Apple. The app is probably easier to book through though, which is 100% totally okay, I don’t want you to feel bad for booking via the app!*
I will make price & video length adjustments as time goes on and as they are needed to fit any demand, I just wanted to start off there and see how it goes! I just wanted to explain pricing a little bit because I know times are hard for many of us and I don’t want anyone to feel like I’m asking too much for a custom. I know some folks will always scrutinize, but I still want to be as realistic as possible and not ask too much if anyone!
My “long-term” goal would be to do 10 minute Cameos for $35-$40 depending on the demand for them, but again I do want to just start out small! For those of you who have gotten cameos before or have ordered custom Patreon videos I always welcome your input on things you like or would like to see me change or implement! I just ask you please be respectful and remember that I am human and that mean words can really hurt! There’s a big difference between critiques and criticism, and I am always open to learning, changing, and growing, but I don’t tolerate people trying to make me feel small. I love you all very much!
