after mettatron killed king abaddon, something which has been implied was against his will, and stole his decapitated head, abaddons eyes have closed and won’t open(?). in one of the chapters(i forget which one), when mettatron is looking at abaddons decapitated head he says “i wish i could look into your eyes again” or smth close to that. and, in the panel of him holding the eyeball after killing all of the lower choir and saying it “reminded him of a toy of his”, it shows that from the start he wanted to find shealtiel just for his eyes, to be able to look into the eyes of abaddon once again. looking back, theres actually a lot of references to his and shealtiels eyes that foreshadowed this happening

So uhhm, If I understand this correctly, Megatron took the Eye of the old King of Inverno, put it into Shealtiel, noticed then, that Shealtiel was (guess what?!) a normal child, got bored and rid of him, then wanted him back, but Raphael protected him, and now he got bored, tried to turn Raphael against Shealtiel and then took the eye back to give it back to its original owner, who he killed to prove a point... and wants to get rid of Shealtiel *again* I think, I'm gonna hurl... god I love the story, but I want to puch this Mothertrucker so bad.
