ooohhh this is such a good point... my various guesses in case we dont get a Confirmed Answer as to why anytime soon: i guess it could be Seven being an unreliable narrator? either in having claimed they and Avina cuddle every night, or else how alone Seven feels at their hotel room? or perhaps it was an extension of, if you played exes!Seven, for Seven to want MC to *think* that was true?? i have no idea. maybe Seven doesnt feel like Avina "counts"? or maybe Avina leaves after a while?? i think, most likely, it might be a only-on-the-bus thing? (but i have chronic memory loss, im not a reliable source for who said what when and what the actual contents were VS the spirit of the thing) maybe Avina and Seven recently set up a new boundary where they stop doing that? that feels unlikely, but perhaps. or maybe its something Seven only does a night where, way back when, they wouldve been on such a high that Seven would have normally participated in drinking or hook-up culture? but uses Avina cuddles as a substitute, kind of like how a chain-smoker who wants to quit would use nicotine? or maybe that was something from before BOTB but they since stopped due to cameras and whatnot? who knows or maybe it was continuity error but its more interesting and fun to assume it wasnt a continuity error and that (cue a 70s stoner voice) "we just don't Get It, maannn" lol

i actually really want an Avina POV, in general(*), but youre so valid for wanting one for this moment specifically. whAT **WAS** GOING ON IN THEIR HEAD RIGHT THEN?? (*: i say "in general" bc i like seeing the ways they and Sev are somehow on the same page but in VERY opposingly seperate and different books. i cant stop shaking the feeling that Sev is going to snap on Avina and it's going to be at least somewhat similar to when Seven blew up on MC before perma-leaving; so im loving the build-up of seeing that and feeling so much pity for Avina while also being like "Avinaaaa, noooo, Avinaaa, stooppp" lmao which i would like to add that my ✨️hope✨️ is that **if** Seven and Avina do have a big fight, that it will parallel Seven and MC's but be "how that Sev/MC fight should have gone" and still end happily?? or at least have Seven matured enough to fix it asap and take accountability, while Avina also does some self-reflecting on their hand in catalysting this, that it's not 3 years of no-contact loathing and stubborn vitriol from Sev's end. that's what i'm thinking. or maybe fantasizing. but, regardless, i love seeing Avina and Seven's POVs on the same event. it is so crazily 🌈fun🌟 to compare and contrast their perspectives omfg i want Avina's car POV so badly lmao)

There's so many building blocks here. I have to first say it's incredibly satisfying seeing what Sev and August are thinking. They're such an interesting duo. Both have different mindsets, one has too much history the other not nearly enough and it shows in the povs with how differently they yearn for the MC. Seven lives and breathes MC and seems to hate that they can't kill that part of themselves or how much they rely on it. It fuels them no matter the response, they really are consumed with them and I love reading Sev so much because of how much angst and tragedy there is in the relationship. MC and Sevs relationship is about growing and changing and still finding one other and it truly speaks to my heart. I have to say, second chance romance was never a trope I liked till now, now I do everything I can to get extra content of this. And then beloved August is going through inner turmoil, but reading their POV, they are just so excited being near MC. It's like a breath of fresh air seeing that there isn't this expectation on MC from August because all of August expectations are on them and how they are representing themselves, the band, the parents, the show. It feels like MC uplifts them and it's wonderful. I want them to believe in themselves and so I loved being in their head for the couple of minutes we were allowed there. Marvelous POVs! And it’s so interesting that Seven makes it clear that Avina would never be able to replace MC and will never play as much as a significant role as MC in their life. They talk about the loss of having someone to talk about everything to (MC), especially music, and how Avina filled the void to talk about music at least, but not the other bits. like hmmmmm……… Avina’s begging to be let in and Seven just dgaf😭 While seven does do surface level intimacy with Avina, like physical affection, there’s no actual meaningful intimacy there that you would expect out of a close friendship. Outside of their shared experience within the band, Avina knows so little but acts like they know everything. While it’s kinda funny when the cracks in Avina and Sev’s friendship show, it’s also deeply uncomfortable to witness😭
