Kebech was starting to wonder if things weren't starting to get a bit out of hand. He had severely underestimated just how much the Ma'at, the cosmic force and spirit, around the land had changed since his time. In times of plenty, the Ma'at would bless the pharaohs of old with the abundance of the Nile, a prosperous flood and fair winds. But the needs and appetites of this new world were great and varied— and he didn't realize what he would get from seeking the blessing of Egypt's Ma'at, not until he saw the pizza parlors and burger restaurants within spitting distance of the pyramids, and realized just what he was asking for when he invoked Ma'at to receive the blessings of the land.
Fast food came in by the boatload; pizzas and burgers, ice cream and sweets of every kind, the modern wonders of gastronomic excess— and all of it was rendered on to Kebech. He was far past fulling regenerating his body, and instead he now fell into a state that had never been seen in his time— he had grown to be like Apophis, consuming everything in his path, if only because he didn't know what else to do with the blessings of Ma'at.
He had been engorged into an enormous, shockingly massive whale of the man he once was— his bindings were tattered, no longer able to traverse any part of his enormously girthy frame— he needed the strength only his spells could provide, as his belly now dragged along the floor, his hopelessly fat legs now wide as columns— he huffed, needing only a moment before more food was forced on him. Kebech had no idea how he was going to keep up— but when he found a moment's peace, the flabby pharaoh swore there would be a reckoning for this.
