The wonders of the modern world astonished Kebech— to think, the magic of the medjai of old paled in comparison to the monumental effort, creating vast communications arrays, enormous tankers and ships the size of entire villages that could cross the seemingly endless oceans, chariots that required no horses or beasts of burden to pull them, buildings of steel and glass, all that infrastructure and technology, and the end result? Burgers, fries, and pizza, with driver deliveries that took it straight to the foot of the pyramids. The pharaohs of old would seethe with jealousy if they could see the height of luxury he was living in now—
But those old pharaohs might have some comments about the effects on his body. Kebech had once possessed the build of a mighty warrior, one who was worthy to be the Son of Ra, the Morning and Evening Star— but all that modern food had to go somewhere, after all. The decadence of the modern age, and with the magic Kebech had to command, meant that he could feast like the greatest of pharaohs literally with a wave of his hand. Every part of his newly constituted body had grown soft, plump, and pliable, girthy waves of fat beginning to spill out of his sacred wrappings.
His belly was close to filling the entirety of his lap, which had also grown, with his chunky thighs and growing, cushioned rear now close to overfilling the alabaster throne he favored, once again returned to his rightful place in the Valley of Kings. His heavy gold ornaments began to chafe against his thickened arms and puffy chest, and he began to wonder openly if perhaps it was time for finer raiments— or at least, larger ones. He also thought of the vast store of Ka he would need to keep this lifestyle up— he was aware that there were always people, tourists, poking around the ruins of his people. Perhaps he could turn his magic on them— every pharaoh needed servants, after all.
