YOUNG OFFENDERS! Print
🕑 Added 2020-10-18 19:26:37 +0000 UTCI was hired by my friend and comic writer, Mark O. Stack to produce a full-color pin up to be used as a print for his newest endeavor, Young Offenders!, a super-teen team-up comic with Mike Becker on art, and Jodie Troutman on letters.
It was a lot of fun trying to translate Mike's energetic style of art and characters into my own painted style. I also got to cram a lot of personality and hints at story into one single illustration, and that was fun, too! I also got to draw a portafilter for the first time in years -- it's so funny how your past comes back to help you when you least expect it.
(At one point when I was still learning art, I drew some of the baristas of my local coffee shop.)
