Button Shy Reprint Campaign (June 2022) is live on Gamefound. We are excited to launch our first project on the Gamefound Crowdfunding platform; there's been a lot to learn and there's bound to be some things we need to figure out as we go - please bear with us if you have questions and we'll do our best to get you the answers you need.

We are starting with three games which all have new expansions available through the campaign: SpaceShipped, Revolver Noir and Wonder Tales. As the campaign goes, there will be the chance to vote for other games to reprint too. (Since this update was drafted, we unlocked Ragemore!)
As these are reprints, the wallet games will not be Featured Games in any future Board Game of the Month Club packages; you will be able to switch them in if your club level includes a wallet game, but we do not know for how long. Each of the 3 new expansions (Revolver Noir, SPaceShipped and Wonder Tales) will be included in the bonus stuff for club packages at $10 and above over the course of 3 months.
HERE'S HOW TO PLEDGE AS A CLUB MEMBER AT GAMEFOUND: Please read as this is VERY different than Kickstarter.
You will receive a discount based on your backer level. It's either $1, $2 or $5, one flat amount, no matter how many wallet games you buy at Gamefound. We will be sending everyone an email at their Patreon email address shortly after this update goes out. That email address will have a credit at Gamefound for this campaign, in the discount amount for your level. Using that email and link, you can then pledge in the campaign and you will receive your credit at the end.
So there is no BGOTMC level, just an email with your discount already applied.
A few quick notes:
- You must pledge for at least 1 wallet game to use your discount. If you pledge for expansions only, the credit will exceed the cost and we will have to cancel the pledge.
- If you already backed the campaign, see if your credit was applied. If not, you may need to cancel and use the link in the email.
Here are the games available so far. The next is unlocked at $25,000 in pledges.
You are an interplanetary trader, flying a second-hand ship, trying to make some cash. A wealthy merchant offered you a lucrative deal. Prove yourself by getting some rare crystals and she'll put you in charge of her trading fleet — one of the biggest in the quadrant. You'll need to get them before your enemy gets them first. What are you waiting for? Get shipping!
A solo space trading game of buying and selling resources, upgrading your ship, crew, and equipment, dealing with pirates, and making deals. A card game with over 30 random events, 4 types of ship, 4 sets of crew members, and 8 different pieces of equipment to install, all using only 18 cards packed neatly in a little wallet.
Your goal: Make enough money through your buying and selling of resources to be able to afford two very expensive exotic stones (three, if you're really daring). At the same time you're trying to do it, pirates are working hard to collect them as well. If they get to them first, or if your ship takes enough damage, you lose.
As if the pressure from the pirates wasn't enough, on each turn, you'll pilot your ship to different planets, experiencing random encounters, solar winds, and violent attacks. Spend too much time repairing your ship and the pirates will steal the crystals first, but don't repair your ship enough and it will likely be destroyed by these attacks. Hire the right crew, buy the right ship, fit your ship with the right equipment, and you just might make it out of the galaxy alive.
New Expansion Available: SpaceShipped: Lockdown (6 more cards for variety, including the Saboteur enemy that moves throughout the rows and takes Xeno Crystals).
Old Expansions Available: SpaceShipped: The Dynasty Seal, SpaceShipped: Out Of Route, SpaceShipped: Debts And Damage.
It was supposed to be an easy job, investigating this abandoned mansion. Suddenly a shot rings out in the darkness, the bullet shattering the plaster behind you. Turns out someone is here as well, and only one of you is leaving alive.
Revolver Noir is game for two players that puts you in the shoes of a private eye stuck in a dark mansion with an unknown hostile. Using a combination of detective work and calculated shots in the dark, your goal is to track down your enemy and put an end to them – before they do the same to you.
New Expansion Available: Revolver Noir: Rogue Agents (brings 4 characters into the game to mix things up).
A collection of old fairy tales has been torn apart. Pages from different stories are all mixed together and strewn about. Can you find the connections between the scattered characters to put their stories back together? Reunite the characters in clever ways to win the game!
Wonder Tales is a quick tile-laying set-collection micro-game for two players.
Each of the 17 game cards is double sided, with the same fairy tale character on both sides, but with different colored highlights.
Players take turns placing cards on a shared tableau with their color showing. Once the tableau is full, scores are tallied depending on which combinations of characters and/or colors lie adjacent to each player's cards.
A game consists of 2-3 rounds, with the tableau shape changing each round.
New Expansion Available: Rumplestiltskin (solo mode) and Magic & Mayhem (6 cards total, bringing both solo play and magical items to the game).
Evil had beset the village, and we were their last hope. We could not ignore our duty, so we set out on one last quest. We fell one by one, until I was the last survivor. Holding steadfast, I swung my axe one last time. As I crashed to the ground, I knew I had found, at last, peace.
Ragemore is an 18 card solo game where you will complete quests, while managing your hand and resources as you delve though the dark, fighting demons, all in a span of 10-15 minutes.
Each card is two sided; a demon and a hero. In the beginning of the game, the player will set up 2 piles of demon-sided quests and a party of 3 hero-sided cards. Then an immediate threat is revealed from the draw deck as the current demon card that may or may not be dealt with. If it is not killed, the demon card will go to one of the quests piles and an event written on that card will take effect. If it is killed, the demon card is flipped to the hero side and becomes one of the party. The player can also ignore the immediate demon threat and goes on a quest to obtain the win condition, or parlay with some of the demons to turn them into heroes but with the cost of the hero's morality: the hero is flipped to the demon side and joins the draw deck of demons.
The game is won when the hero gains the required number of quest card by using a combination of four symbols drawn on each cards. The game is lost when the graveyard has 3 deaths or when a quest pile has 4 demons or the party has no more heroes or the draw deck of demons is empty before the number of quest cards is fulfilled or if the quest piles are empty before the number of quest cards is fulfilled. 1 winning condition and 5 losing conditions.

So it seems like I'll have duplicates of the new SpaceShipped expansion if I pledge for the rest of those expansions (which seems better than ordering them after the campaign because the shipping is all inclusive and the price would be the same)?

Update here, but a full Patreon update on this coming over the weekend. No one has received an email (we're still trying to work that out), but if you have not already backed and login to Gamefound using the same name and email address as here, the credit should show in your Gamefound account and you'll be able to apply it. But, we hit a glitch and we could not automatically add it for all you lovely people who were supporting already (and a few others it seems). We've worked out how to fix that now, but it has to be done manually. This is also true if your Gamefound account is not in the same name and email address as your Patreon account. Please email buttonshyhelp@gmail.com with the full name and email address on your Gamefound account and your Patreon support tier (either how many dollars a month you pay or the name of the level you support at) and name if it's different. Michelle will make the manual adjustments - give her 24 hours please - and reply to your email when it's updated for you giving instructions so you can make sure the credit gets applied to your pledge. Sorry for the extra work - it's all a part of learning the new system and we know how to avoid it next time around. Thanks for bearing with us this week - it's been a busy one for sure.

After looking through the pledges I have one question so far. I see you can do an addon for the 4 spaceshipped expansions, which includes the new one. It's also essentially discounted to get the new one for free. However, since the bonus content in the BGOTM club will include the new expansions, and since you can't opt for something different on the bonus stuff, will there be a way to pledge for just the 3 existing expansion at some discounted rate, and then that way I don't end up with a second copy of the new expansion eventually?

The expansions will come to the club $10+ levels. The wallet games will not be featured for $18+ level (as we have new featured games coming up), but you can swap out a featured game for it. If you want all of the upcoming featured games, you can pledge separately for these with your discount.

Sorry if I have got this wrong and misread the update… if we want the expansions with the wallet games is it best to wait for them to come out over the next few months or to back them on gamefound with the wallet games? Thanks
