Here's how to pledge at Kickstarter
Choose the $1 BGOTMC Members reward level and add bonus support to your pledge accordingly using the prices below. If you have any questions, ask in our Discord server, here or by email to buttonshyhelp@gmail.com and we'll get you the price.
To calculate the amount of Bonus Support you need to add to your $1 pledge, find the reward that you would like, then add the cost of shipping to your region and subtract the discount for your patron level:

As always, this game will be available to you at no additional cost as a Featured Game in a future club package. The Death Valley: Panamint City expansion will come with it as well.
So what's the game all about?
Sunlight glaring through the windshield. Your favorite songs blasting through the speakers. Candy bar wrappers piled next to a warm drink in the cheap plastic cupholder. Your companion riding in the passenger seat, snapping pictures of landmarks as you settle into the hypnotic rhythm of the road. But be careful: this fun road trip could get dangerous as you drive through Death Valley.
Death Valley is a pocket-sized, push-your-luck, tableau building game for 1-2 players, with each traveler striving to assemble the best mix of cards in their Journey and Scrapbook in order to win the game. Each turn, players will choose whether to assign a card to the Journey or move cards from their Journey to their Scrapbook. Cards feature stars (points), special abilities (affect the value and position of cards), and some interesting facts about Death Valley. Each card also has a hazard (Heat, Terrain, Flood or Animals) and having 3 of the same Hazard visible in their tableau will cause the player to bust, losing all the progress in their Journey so far. At the end of the game the player with the most stars in their Journey, plus any additional points from card abilities, is the winner.
Also included:
- Backseat Driver Variant Rules. Ramp up the press your luck as players may choose to play the face-up card on their opponent’s journey as well as their own. At the end of each turn you will check to see if either player busts!
- Solo Mode Rules (designed by Kevin Ellenburg and Mike Mullins). Here you will face an AI explorer that thinks through its action each turn similarly to a player (playing the more intense Backseat Driver Variant).
- Panamint City Expansion. 6 more cards to customize the deck before playing Death Valley for added variability.

Just joined as a Patreon and was wondering if I should back at the boardgame of the month club pledge level or not since I technically won't be charged until April.

Hi. You would need to be a $20 supporter when Death Valley is the featured game to get it in a club package. Or back it on Kickstarter and switch it out for a different game later.

You can do either and get Death Valley about the same time. Do nothing and get it when Death Valley's the featured game or back the Kickstarter for $10 and choose a different featured game in the month Death Valley is offered

First month as a $20 Patreon backer, so a basic question about backing this on KS. In the US, going for Death Valley and the expansion -- it would be $10 total? $1 reward level + $9 + $5 shipping - $5 discount? Am I correct that I should just wait to pick this as my monthly selection later?
