August Packages Update
🕑 Added 2016-09-02 11:18:49 +0000 UTC Hello and welcome new supporters! We had a big increase in the past month, so thank you all for joining us.Just a quick update here on the August packages. Today we will receive the final piece of the puzzle (it's always the newsletters that take the longest to arrive here - working on a fix for that), but this means we can stuff the envelopes tonight and get these out in the morning. So expect your package to arrive next week. If you don't have it by the end of next week, just let me know and I'll look into the status. (NOTE: You will receive an August package if you were a supporter on July 31st. If you supported after July 31st, your first package will be the September package.)
Other than that, there are a few days left of summer here, which means everyone goes back to school and we return to normal scheduled life in my house. Summer is always tough as I am working and everyone else is home, so I am pulled in every direction for every waking hour. The end of the summer is the peak of it as everyone is getting ready to go back to school, and it's one more direction that I'm pulled in.
This summer was great, but I am wiped out. Ready to get back to normal and breathe again. :)
There's a lot going on here at Button Shy too. The biggest two things are that 1) We have Ryan Sanders (formerly of the Inquisitive Meeple) on as our Press Contact. He's getting our games out to bigger and better places and we're already seeing the results of his work. And 2) We are converting to quarterly Kickstarters next year, each with 3 games. We're still doing 12 games and you will still get the exact same monthly discount, the timing just shifts a little (basically when a Kickstarter launches you can use up to 3 of your monthly discounts at one time). I'll have a whole bunch of details on how it'll work as we get closer.
In the meantime our next game Pentaquark launches next week, so we'll be back Tuesday with a PNP and discount details.
