[Comm] A Suite Scoop!
🕑 Added 2025-01-08 03:14:52 +0000 UTC(Hey everyone. December's come and gone, and... yeah. So I wanted to open this year with something positive - this is a comm for Patron DM-3000)
The hotel was so tall it feels almost overwhelming. The design was quite the throwback as well; something you'd see in fancy New Donk City buildings, to give you an idea. A sign nearby displayed the name in white and gold:
"The Last Resort"
I was invited here, you see, for my latest report. The door man(?), he seemed really familiar, but was made entirely of green goo! You'd think he was a jelly dessert the way he escorted me to the elevator, wobbling all the while. Pressing the elevator button, I ascended the considerable hotel. I wanted to see more of its interesting features, but what - and who - I was here for was on the Master Suite, a place for the owner of this luxurious place: Hellen Gravelly.
Now... I have this thing about ghosts, formerly alive persons, or naturally occurring specters and the like (From what I understand, Hellen is the latter type). They really frighten me. I admit I felt a sense of dread coming here - after all, I never really met one in person like this, Boos aside.
But then I realised... the staff were ghosts too! Friendly and somewhat clumsy, but ... real ghosts! Kinda wish I was with that green guy right about now. (Luigi! That's who he looked like!)
I swallowed my fear as a large rectangular shaped red guard snorted and gestured towards me as I exited the elevator, allowing me inside the Master Suite's main area. Why was this place under such tight security?
It was then I finally met Hellen in person. Those glowing yellow eyes pierced my soul, but I couldn't help but be... entranced, whether it's those red lips, heaving chest, wide hips and... legs?! Why would a ghost need legs?! I know some beings can change their appearances, and many of the staff are legless too...
Still, she greeted me amicably, and led me to the Drawing Room, and I confess, I was drawn to her feet - a really beautiful set of heeled shoes clacked on the suite's floor as I followed her. Such an odd welcome by the owner - or should I say inmate of this building. See, Hellen's under "house arrest", serving time with her managerial duties. What for?
"For being a very naughty girl." She teased, her heeled feet waving slightly as she sat cross-legged on the chair.
The Last Resort Incident. It was kept under wraps, you'd never know it had happened here given the condition of this hotel - but Princess Peach was really irked when I told her I was going to see Ms. Gravelly. That's what I was here for, to learn what happened.So I got to my work (Yes, I'm a professional reporter in between enjoying sexy feet, shush), asking her what happened, and how she was involved. It was hard to concentrate, her feet in view as we talked - even moreso as her shoes were open-toed! She did express some interest in continuing this business after serving time - after all, she can make good bank knowing celebrities can frequent this place; Flurrie's latest tour is happening, and would certainly want an opulent place like this to stay while she stops in our country. (Hmm, I'll keep that in mind!)
Hellen did note I looked a little flustered, and offered to take me somewhere comfortable... her bedroom?! I had a bad feeling about this, especially given she was a key figure in the incident. As in, the mastermind of this! For that King Boo guy! I thought he was gone!
"No!" I said to myself, I have to be brave, I must maintain my journalist's integrity and... her shoes slipped right off. I'm done for.
Yes, I know she's probably doing this to curry my favor, perhaps so I can write something flattering for the report afterward.

On top of the great art, I really like the accompanying writing piece your made for this. The art is excellent as always--distinct poses, beautiful coloring, cool details--but the writing just adds that extra bit of unique context, you know? A piece with this lengths gives you a whole lot--context, prose, Luss T.'s feelings about the situation and characterization, the whole nine yards. It may be a bit, uhh, forward of me to say but this is what makes your stuff the real deal. Everything that goes into making each piece makes it a complete package--whether a piece is accompanied with writing or easter eggs or not, there's always the feeling of shared continuity. That's why I love all your stuff so much. Thank you.
