"I often wonder if everyone else actually even knows what I am. Callie, Marie, Pearl, Three, Four and Craig does, but the secret's not quite out yet... Even in spite of Eight and many more of my people moving in.
I've lived most of my life smothered by a system and culture built on lies and suspicion. I thought I escaped one suffocating system, just to run into another. One based on ignorance. I thought it meant I won't be treated differently because people don't notice. I thought it made things easier.
I'm... still different, that's certainly obvious, but who actually articulates, or bother to research why?
'An exotic voice. An exotic looking big-sister.' A common refrain among my fans. The line blurs between appreciation and fetishism... Let me make this clear. I greatly love my time here, and the people I've met are so welcoming, and feel like I belong, but it was quite clear I'm not really... seen. Maybe my casual references to my culture might register, but I dunno...
What am I to you when I'm on the stage? An exotic woman who seems unlike everyone else? Maybe my hair's different? Maybe my eyes are different? Or my voice? And that seems attractive to you because it's so... unusual, yes?
What about off the stage, am I not someone who had their eyes opened to something new, something better? Am I not someone who ran away from home and felt lonely since? Am I not someone who wants to express what I know and enjoy from home? Am I not someone who still fears of showing myself as I really am?
I'm still that "exotic big sister", as far as I'm concerned. Well, not everyone of course.
I... snapped last week thinking upon all of that. I was so tired. It's why I came here, to... let loose, mentally, emotionally, among other 'ally's, and be closer to those I admire. You can't see it here, but everyone was worried after last week. At least Marie, most of all listened to what I had to say.
I think of others like me. They too are emerging into a bigger world and getting their chance to learn, and live, and love, and express themselves. I'm not alone anymore, and hopefully that will be enough to encourage others to actually see what I - we actually are. It's not entirely change enough, but it's a heck of a start."

Well, there was that one Octoling in Idol Collaboration that I'm surprised no one talked about, but I just like how the Nutty Ice Cream has 98% sugar. Maybe it's because last night that particular pic served me very well (Callie eating out of Marina's boot is so damn kinky!) but seeing moments like that can be pretty funny and add some depth to the characters.

Oh wow, more sketches? Even better! Love the worship with all the girls on Marina and the ice cream one had a laugh. I was wondering about the Marina and Pearl one, like Marina was talking to a Splatoon version of Ms. Hestif? She was very interesting to see. Guess we had not really established a manager for the duo. Especially from an argument with the two. Anyways, good stuff there, nice shading on the sketches and honestly can’t complain about more feet love for Marina. And neat you edited the story, I liked it but it was good to connect to the Loft. Folks do need a break, especially after a bad day or having thoughts like that.

This is absolutely phenomenal, the pics on their own are fantastic, but the way you do dialogue and have a lil story to go alongside them is really above and beyond, amazing work on this 👌

Thanks, hope you didn't mind the rather huge dissonance between these pics and Marina's thoughts. I made some edits here and there, but in general - she was upset lately, and asked to come up there to The Loft to let loose, in more ways than one.

Yeah, those things! You know, all those things that you look at and say, "Oh hey, this would go really well in a multiplayer map or something, but it's only in the campaign!" Well, erm...at least 8 Balls aren't in the multiplayer though. Can't wait for 8 Ball to be the Hot new Ranked Mode!

Yup. I'm actually working on something...special myself (not stealing your thunder, anyway) that I wanna submit to Mostly soon, and this kinda gave me ideas for such. As for the man himself, I'm glad to see you're posting good stuff again! The SFW pieces are a treat too, the environments look really expressive in your style!

Wait, didn't Marina build those Ink Tower things you see in the Campaign whose name escapes me because I haven't played the campaign in a while? It's just yeah, she is a techie, but the less people question why she is a techie, maybe the better off she (and they) are.

I also read the story in the description: that’s very introspective of Marina. She is an interesting character, especially being the first Octoling before Octo Expansion and Octos joined above. Fits pretty inline with the world, especially how she’s famous and all. Kinda one thing I’d like for them to explore more, but who knows, maybe some time.

Ohhhhh, so this was the big project you were working on! I erm...guess it was kinda...sorta...maybe related...hheeheheh...to erm...the thing...maybe...I should shut up now before anyone gets suspicious of me. Anyway, since Idol Collaboration was already so good, seeing a sequel to it is even better. I was looking for more Splatoon art for my needs, so yeah, heheheh.

WOO more Splatoon fun stuff! And good stuff as well. I always enjoyed the Splatoon content you do and wow this is really nice and varied, quite good coverage of hot stuff there with poses and ideas. And didn’t think you could make Marina more sexy that you already have and she already is, but the full pose in the end and her kissing Marie. Man that is quite good stuff. That fingering Pearl is a new one too. Nice comment with Marina being a DJ too, I found that clever.
