“Sarah. Sarah Bhali. I was just um.”
“Are you here for. The clinic?”
“How did. Wait that voice. Are you the one I spoke with?”
“Come inside. Let’s talk.” Randy shuffled Sarah into the clinic which was an old looking doctors office. He pulled out a teacup from the cupboard and began heating some tea for her.
“I feel a little better knowing a doctor is behind the flyer.”
“Good good. Now. Could you tell me how a intelligent and well adjusted girl like you. Ended up getting pregnant?”
“Um… I’m not really sure what to say.”
“Don’t be shy. Everything is confidential. I am a well known doctor.” He placed the tea in front of her sliding it under her nose.
Nodding hesitantly she looked down into the cup. “I don’t have much experience with sex. I’m not someone who would go around doing it… But I don’t understand. My stomach keeps getting bigger…”
The doctor chuckled leaning forward on the desk encouraging her to drink. “Sounds like someone had fun. No reason to feel ashamed for sharing yourself with someone.” Sarah had no recollection of the events of her first college party and still thought it was just a gathering of friends with a few drinks. The part her mind refused to remember was just how many people had fun with her.
“Oh. No no. It’s not like that. I’m sure.” She fidgeted on her chair feeling her panties getting wet. She was scared of those broken memories but her body felt the opposite, feeling hot and excited.
“Well Sarah. I don’t plan to dig into your past. I’m just here to do my job. Removing your pregnancy.”
“Th-thank you. This won’t go public. Right?”
“Of course not.”
“It’s not going to cost me either?”
“No. Nothing at all.”
“It’s safe too. Right?”
Sighing through his chuckles, Randy walked around the desk and placed a hand on her shoulder. “Sarah… Trust me okay. I’m a doctor after all.”
“O-okay. I want it. Whatever your treatment is. I want it.”
“That’s great news! Let’s start with a quick medical exam to understand how far your pregnancy is and if the treatment is right for you. Now drink up and we can begin our first session!”
“Oh what? Right now?” She gulped down the tea hearing her body gurgle as the hot liquid hit her stomach. “Ah! What was that tea. It was quite delicious. Reminded me of my granny back in Bombay.”
“I’m glad you like it. I mixed it myself. Now follow me.” He walked over to the storage door hidden behind some science equipment and opened it waiting for her to join him.
Behind the door was a staircase leading down to a dimly lit space. Sarah was hesitant to follow but Randy’s reassuring hand on her back made her feel a little safer. Once at the base of the stairs the space opened out into what looked like and operation room. A sudden overwhelming anxiety wave rushed over her scared tiny body, she was ready to walk away. However, her body moved on its own continuing to follow Randy to the table in the middle of the room.
