Absolute hero and fave character when I was a kid. I wanted to be Geordi, and keenly felt the times the writers did him dirty. Reading rainbow probably helped, but I always knew that this was a man you could implicitly trust, both to get it done, and to be there for you.

Worf and Riker Ride Again

When I was a kid and my mum took me out to the shops, i'd always be trying to recreate the LaForge manoeuvre and slide under the shop security shutters as they were coming down during closing time.

That’s a lot of rotoscoping for those transitions. Damn.

I always thought Levar was under-utilized on the show. He is the consummate professional actor, always skilled, good delivery. Like Deanna i feel like he never got the meatiest episodes. LA FORGE FOREVER!

Evan Guthrie

This goes harder than Riker when he meets a new species.

Scotty is still the GOAT. But Geordi comes pretty close.

Haha, this is amazing, Alex. That under-appreciated LaForge swagger. And you KNOW anytime a blast shield door is coming down, Geordi's not ducking and running under. It will be a full, last-second body roll to safety. The man has the brains, the moves, the visor.
