High B for me. Overrated episode but still pretty strong

Jay D

Hated Jelico, C so far, definitely not one of my favorite episodes. I’ll upgrade it to a B because of part 2, but no higher.

PixelsAtDawn

I mean S, obviously. How could it be anything else?

Binty McFrazzles

S-tier, without a shadow of doubt. David Warner and Patrick Stewart are superb, as is Ronnie Cox. When the Federation is potentially on the brink of war, Riker acts like a spoiled brat when asked to do his job. Doesn't he realise he's the first officer on the flagship of the Federation in a military organisation? His smugness is actually quite grating. Troi looks 10 x better in a standard uniform, and looks so much more professional, although I did hear it's what Marina Sirtis was asking for.

Jim J

Easiest S of the season.

Chris L

who would rate this C-tier? And yet there we have it.

PegasusPaladin

I wanted to force Dick Cheney to watch this episode on an endless loop during the second Iraq invasion. Only gets more poignant as time goes on

s tier for me but so hard to watch - the image of the child being exposed to the torture stays with me and speaks volumes - such amazing work by all

Raphael Gaytan

He’d certainly get you killed faster than Picard would.

Gabe Logan

At some point, Stewart had the fish removed as he is animal rights proponent and he didn’t believe enlightened Humans would trap animals in an aquarium.

Boggle

Jellico seems like he's trying to be made out as a baddie with his decisions. But he simply showed how lax of a command Picard really ran in some ways. I'd rather go to war with Jellico, tbh.

I was always surprised that the fish wasn't supposed to be holographic

You tell me, what is wrong in these episodes. I don't like Jellico, because Ronnie Cox did his job. The story, almost 90 minutes runtime, flys by. All of our constant cast members hand in perfect performances. To top it all off, an adversary that isn't weak or dumb.
