He landed on Juno Beach, led his squad up the hills through machine gun fire and through open fields that the Germans had littered with anti-tank mines only to be shot by friendly fire- taking 4 bullets in the leg, one that blew off a finger- he wears a prosthetic on the shows and movies, and one bullet would have hit his heart but was stopped by his metal cigarette case that was in his breast pocket that saved his life

This is only roughly related, but my girlfriend accidentally wrecked my car about a month ago. That car was everything to me, it was essentially my Enterprise. So seeing that scene from Relics with Scotty on the bridge of the OG Enterprise, the line of never loving something like that again...it hits so hard. I bought another car that is similar to my now-totaled one, but it will never be the same. Here's to ya, '05 Buick LeSabre...and to Alex for the great edits!
