Awww man! Now I gotta wait another WEEK for edited Expanse reactions?! Well &^@# (I know, y'all got lots of stuff to do.) *leaves page today, disappointed*

Please avoid spoilers including episode titles, and references to future episodes. They read this (Josh does anyway). You might want to edit the OP to remove titles and upcoming references (this show or others).
Evan Guthrie
Didn't know there was a tier above S!
Derek Orr
It was a Canadian stratford reunion:)
Derek Orr
Might be a bit early for that still?
Derek Orr
You did not just say something named Buffy is better than TNG did you ?
Derek Orr
As a Canadian I agree absolutely 💯
Paul Hess
Something's wrong with the calendar graphic. It says ST-VI is still 4 days away. We should have made it "VI on the 6th"! 😉 This movie gets bumped up one tier in rank just cause it's such an appropriate send off for the TOS cast.

Which version of Star Trek 6 will you be watching?
Sainjl
To each their own, I guess.
Todd Pritchett
Many times there will be a choice for English (forced) that’s specifically for subtitles only when the dialog is non English. Always put that on if it’s a choice.
D Gyre
Wohwoo Star Trek VI is here!
Sam Langanke
As an European I am so confused about your week beginning on Sunday. This is highly illogical Spock would say.
Michael Metrick
I love how some folks love to talk about future episodes. The boys are watching FOR THE FIRST TIME. Shitcan these self-serving posts. Post how smart you are AFTER they see it.
Selina
well thats certainly an opinion considering which episodes that includes.
Paul Hess
Deleted my own comment. It wasn't spoilers but heavy on like/dislike opinions. Alex & Josh you really need to set up a bunch more Patron Takes threads to give us somewhere to pontificate more safely, since that's what we all love doing.
Nolan
Pat Sayjak or Ryan Seacrest? Either way, their Moose is cooked.
Nolan
See, we need to just get them to watch Scrubs to get them off the Sci-fi train and psuedo-subject them to more Dr. Stubbs.
Nolan
It's such a shame that the quote my brain most associates with his Scrubs character is no longer appripriate to say out of context, especially anytime ragging on Stubbs comes up.
Nolan
This happens so often on DVDs and streaming and I'm absolutely boggled by such a brain-dead choice. I had to rewatch the first hour of Dune Part 2 when I rented it off Amazon cause I realized I was missing important shit.
Nolan
Well now, E23, won't THAT be an interesting conversation then...
Timothy Nikiforovs
Really blitzing through the Expanse. Hope you enjoy it.
Phil Ken Sebben
I agree with you.
Phil Ken Sebben
We avoid future episode titles here.
paultardspambot .
A note on the next TNG episode which people might have already mentioned. Originally the guest star was supposed to be Robin Williams and the episode was written for him, but he had to cancel because when it came time to shoot, his wife was 8 and a half months pregnant, so instead we got a similar premise with a much weaker guest actor. Would have been interesting to see what Williams would have done with the role. I agree with most here, I think TNG unfortunately is entering into a bit of a slump not having viewed TNG based on season before this, I was a bit surprised as to how relatively weak this next five episode stretch is. The best of these is likely "Hero Worship" but rewatching it not long ago, it didn't hold up as well I remember, though it might be something Josh and Alex enjoy. From there it's strong, except for S5E23 which for me is an absolute E, it has to be because it completely ignores cannon and makes zero sense. Thinking about it, while I'm a fan of TNG, I don't think TNG quite lived up to "Great Television" (though I think Buffy did) despite great characters and being so Influential. Watching a bit of DS9 recently, its clear thats the highwater mark for the franchise and starting probably with "Duet", things that are going to make Alex and Josh's jaw drop.
Sainjl
I’m not really interested in any of the episodes until ep 14. It’s going to be a long month.
penoyer79
after Star Trek 6, I wouldn't mind seeing a Star Trek TOS retrospective if that is something worth doing. how have your feelings of the series changed (if at all) since you finished it and now that you're deep into TNG how much do you go back and rewatch episodes? has your opinions of certain episodes changed? better/worse? just kind of curious to revisit this now that you've had a chance to sit with it for a while.
tyranusfan
We shouldn't talk about Dr Stubbs' appearance in STVI, it'll be a spoiler. ;)
Ian Westcott
The director knows when he's got a good thing. You sometimes need guest actors to ham it up slightly when paired with Giant Ham William Shatner.
Ian Westcott
FYI, I have a recommendation for watching Star Trek 6 -- I noticed that in the copy that I have, you have to watch it with subtitles turned on. When seen in the theater, they had subtitles for alien languages so you knew what was being said, and this was important for the plot; as there are scenes with just aliens speaking to each other that audiences were supposed to know what was being said. In the DVD version, turning off regular English subtitles turns off ALL subtitles, including the plot-important alien dialogue. ( I think you already watch with subs turned on so you can talk while watching, but just in case )
Sam Langanke
Doesn't sound very enthusiastically. Damn SciFi. :-)
Josh (Target Audience)
You get all of it.
Paul
Ah yes that makes more sense
Monty Crawford
I think it signifies what day of the week.
Monty Crawford
Sooo....I've been $10 tier for a couple of years...do i get the uncut expanse or the edited version.
Paul
Wait it says the expanse unedited was yesterday?
Paul Rymer
Agree after a recent rewatch, for reasons I’ll expand on after they’ve seen it.
Paul Rymer
Can’t wait, will happily watch again
Fishing Trip
Stargate when?
Mark
The Expanse? Welcome to the churn my friends.
Paul Hess
I'm going to have a good Trek week next week. I love Episode 9, not for all my typical highfalutin reasons but just because it's a fun romp. Then ST VI, which I love for all my typical highfalutin reasons, most notably a great guest actor who not only tears his scenes apart but clearly has fun doing it. I think the director was afraid to stop him!
Axis 77
Red kibble?
Josh (Target Audience)
We want to get through it quicker
Tim b
You guys are going to love ST6, it's the perfect finale to the TOS movie saga.
Sam Langanke
The guys also do 2-3 Trek episodes in a row. But they don't drop it at once. So what's the difference?
Doug
They did it just for you
TivAcrid
honestly in season 1 it can be very hard to keep track of everything thats going on, its probably better to do a couple in a row rather than spacing them out so much
Tom Occhipinti
But.... but.... but... What about? What about?
Sam Langanke
2-3 Expanse episodes per session? Why?
Ramen Nudels
We eating good this year
Chtphr Rrr
On January 8th they are going to watch The Wheel of Fortune. I've never seen anyone react to that; it might even be interesting...
Josef Nitervol
agree!
Josh (Target Audience)
We are watching in release order so it will be theatrical then we will circle back to Donner cut later
Josh (Target Audience)
If you’re referring to the movie reaction lottery you can message us directly on here or you can reply to this comment. Really any way to get it to us is fine

Watching you guys watch ST VI is the moment I've been waiting for since I first found your YT channel. I saw this movie when it was released in theatres and it was an experience I will never forget but am excited to re-live with you!
Sherpa Jones
A week early for mine, and just as excited for this moment! Saw it in theatres when it was released and IMO is the best Star Trek movie of all time! TWOK is a very, very close second.
Noah Fawkes
Undiscovered Country react is the best birthday gift y'all could give! Thank y'all for everything you do! <3
Anthony Goodwin
Star Trek VI! You guys have no idea how excited I am for your reactions to the movie! 😃🖖 But I also can't wait for your TNG reactions to episodes 10, 11 & 14!
James H
How do you submit a movie suggestion if you just recently joined Target Demo?
Troy
Star Trek: VI on the 10th yeah! You both are going to love this move!
Christopher
Is Superman II going to be the theatrical version or the Richard Donner Cut?
AzoriusMage
