It's a GREAT movie. There's an independent filmmaker/amateur historian on YouTube called (Atun-Shei) who makes a compelling albeit hyperbolic case that it's one of the best movies ever made.

Ok Everyone! Is it worth $3.79 to watch?

I love this movie. It's just crazy.

I love his acting. The kissing issue is so fucking stupid. It's not like getting hot and heavy is really a part of most shows. You would think stand-ins or write arounds could take care of it.

He was also Dum Dum Dugan in Captain America: The First Avenger

Those piercingly blue eyes are unforgettable. 👀

The actor you were asking about, Neil McDonough, has been in lots of stuff, but rarely as a leading man. He was *amazing* in Band of Brothers, and he appears in a future Star Trek property too. That being said, one of the reasons he never took off is his extremely devout religious beliefs. For example, he refuses to be in anything where he would have to kiss a fellow actor because he believe it would be infidelity.

Since you liked this, you might like "Bone Tomahawk" (2015)
