Boy, with this extreme clear closeup, I'm really seeing now just how much makeup, including lipstick, that Leonard Nimoy was wearing! That's something he pretty much dropped for the TOS movies...

Of course, actress Jill Ireland is known for being married to super tough guy actor Charles Bronson who was the 11th of 15 children born in the Pennsylvania mountains to a Lithuanian family. Supposedly the first time he ate three meals a day was when he joined the U.S. Army. Jill Ireland was one of the most famous celebrities of that era to be diagnosed with breast cancer. She lived 6 more years after that, dying at age 54 in 1990. She was previously married to Scottish actor David McCallum of NCIS and The Man from U.N.C.L.E. who died last year at the age of 90.

Always heartbreaking. 💔 The lighting and direction by the great Ralph Senensky is brilliant. Ralph is over 100 and he still remembers it all in great detail.

Some of the very best dialogue ever penned by the great Dorothy Fontana. Shatner, Nimoy, and Fontana reflected on the episode in a 1998 Sci-Fi Channel "Special Edition" segment: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TNXZS6Y0kxc

If Spock can be happy with her, why can't you let Picard be happy with Vash? lol

Thid is great
Sue Farinacci
Very poignant. One of the saddest lines of dialogue in the series.

You needed something to wash down the last episode.
David Wayne Fox
*sniff sniff* (reaches for a Kleenex)...

Lol is this because you just watched Qpid, and you -were- happy with TNG until Jennifer Hetrick showed up again?
Collin Freeman
Great scene. Now that is a cupid/Qpid episode.
