To save yourself from further trampling, you cave and reveal the location of your base's camp.
"I'll talk, I'll talk! Just please, stop!"
The pressure from the dragon's hind paw eases in response to your plea. While his paw still pins your form to the earth, the restraint is gentle enough to simply hold you in place and prevent you from running off.
"I-It's far east, you'll have to search throughout the Whiterock Canyons..."
You hope that your fabricated confession will net you just enough freedom so you can escape to the woods. But instead, your words are met with uproarious laughter from the beast.
"I've just come from there, you little liar-!"
Your stomach sinks.
"You know what...? I have a special place for difficult ones, like yourself."
You squeeze your eyes shut.
The warm flesh of Lirus' paw leaves you.
Just before you can rise to your feet, you're overwhelmed by searing breath that reeks of spiced smoke and seawater. You're staring into a cavernous maw that hovers just above you.
