New version of KIT OPS: HARDPOINTS Edition
🕑 Added 2022-08-02 14:03:56 +0000 UTCIt's been awhile since we've released a new version. Hardpoints has been in testing for quite some time and it should be good to go. The idea is you can now use KIT OPS PRO to create INSERTS that can be easily assembled. So, creating combinations of objects is as easy as snapping things to their hardpoints.
I worked with another Blender user, Brunya, to create an interesting "CYBERDECK KPACK" that demos this process nicely. We have a beta version of SYNTH which can intelligently snap these parts together based on their tags. It will be interesting to see what comes of it.
I'll be sharing a couple of the completed CYBERDECKS here along with some AI created screen graphics shortly.
Also, now you can create a cutter INSERT directly in your scene, which is really cool. I'm looking forward to creating some interesting demos showing how cool that feature is.
This version of KIT OPS PRO/FREE also has a lot of bug fixes, so even if you're using FREE, you should grab the update.
