Dude, Kalan, my himbo twink. Do not fucking apply your holy healing light which is anathema to Aleksei's kind while he is dead and relying on his beloathed-by-your-god dad to come back.
Lauren
I love the extra dialogue! Even without it the art is so expressive that you can feel the sorrow/pain/surprise etc.
Leesa Willis
"Where's Aleksei, Gwen?" 💔😭
Leesa Willis
Right??
Cussundria Kneal
Now why did you have to go and hit us with the "Where's Aleksei?" WHHHYYYYYY, I KNOW HE COMES BACK, STOP YANKING MY HEART OUT! 😭😭😭💔
MotherOfOwlbears
Because Gwen couldn't handle seeing him dead. It's different when you care a lot.
Em

Aleksei wakes up and immediately dies again due to suffocation. RIP.

M L
Who is the warrior next to Kalan. Could it be Faustus’s late wife? That would be a nice twist 😱
Amber
The wrapped up head makes him look extra dead 😥😥😥
Urbandryad
In retrospect, it feels like Gwen’s white gown with the ombré blood coloured dip dye was foreshadowing.
Vesper
My poor baby Kalan! 😭
rasvimhia
It was for the best that she covered his face but I need to see our boy

I'm usually pretty patient between updates... BUT FOR THE LOVE OF GODS I NEED TO SEE ALEKSEI ALIVE AGAIN 😩
Linds
Kalan: No! Daddy is DEAD! Gwen: Meh. He'll be fine.
Katie Hammond

Katie Hammond
Is Kalan using magic on Alexsei in that last panel? Won't that mess him up more since their gods are not fans of each other?
Cussundria Kneal
OH HE IS TRYING TO HEAL HIM, BBY NOOOOOOOO. 😭💔
Veronica Josephine
