FAQ
🕑 Added 2020-05-02 13:32:44 +0000 UTCHi guys! I'm writing this trying to clarify all your doubts, as I keep receiving similar questions about the pack. Let's go!
- Which version of Minecraft do I need to use the pack?
Right now I'm developing the resource pack on Java version, and it has been tested on optifine 1.14.4 and 1.15.3. But my intention is to port everything to Bedrock and RTX, and to keep adding blocks to go on pair with the snapshots. So in the future It will be aviable on every version.
-How many blocks (and which ones) will be in the pack?
The idea of this pack is to cover all the game entirely, and create an entirely new and fresh visual experience. The first version will cover the basic common blocks (logs, stone, ores, grass, bricks, Coble, etc) and it will release to the public as soon as finished. Then I will star working on update packs, as the Aquatic update (with coral blocks, prismarine, sea lanterns, etc) Nether update (netherrack, quartz, nether bricks...) and so on. Also I will keep fixing textures and hearing your feedback to keep polishing the older updates till everything works together!
- When is the pack coming out?
Right now I cannot tell exactly when, as I'm still deciding which blocks are going to be in the first version and which non-blocks (2d grass, flowers, lily pads, etc) are going in too, but I think no more than a month.
- How much is going to cost?
The pack is going to be free. The first version and all the following updates will release to the public for free as soon as finished.
- You say the pack is going to be free but I can only access it from Patreon.
The pack right now is on development. In order to keep the level of quality, I need to work full time on this project, and that's why I have a patreon. Patrons will be able to test and play with the WIP versions currently on development, and they have some rewards, like variations of diferent blocks, but the pack will be free once is finished, and also the following updates.
To clarify, I made my Patreon to be able to make this a reality, not to sell the product, so please, if you just want the pack, wait till the release, and become a patron only if your intention is to support me and help me make this possible for everyone. Thank you:)
- Which shaders do I have to use?
You can try the shaders you like, but I strongly recommend SEUS renewed, or some POM compatible shader.
-So... What about MOBS?
The truth is... I don't know yet. I'm going to leave mobs for the end, as I have still to try styles and ideas to made them fit in the style, but for now, they will remain the same.
And now, some clarifications I want to make:
- I'm creating a web to host all the links, photos and videos
- I'm also creating a YouTube channel to upload showcase videos of the pack
- My name is Miguel Galván and I'm from Spain.
- Thank you for reading this:)

This looks SUPER promising! I'll subscribe as soon as you have the blocks required to play without major 16x disturbance from the untextured blocks haha. Any idea of when that could be? Would love to try it out :) Cheers, great work.

No, is not required
Do I have to use shaders?
Del_cieno
I'm preparing a web page to host the links
Where can we download it when there is a version to download for free?

thanks ficere:) for now im not concerned about making a 1024x version as i dont really think is necessary or adds something noticeably. but maybe once the pack is finished y try to export everything on 1024/2048 to see how it goes and if there is a substancial change, then maybe i make the hd version hahaha

hi max! i dont really know about labPBR, im going to check that out!
Hello! I saw on discord that you are feeling a bit overwhelmed with social media, so please don’t feel the need to answer immediately, but I was wondering if you will release a 1024x1024 version of the pack when you officially release or at some stage later down the line? Thank you for making the faq, and maybe at some point you could add some of the questions people are posting in the comments into it. 😃

will u do tools and weapons? :D
Will there be a LabPBR version for shaders using it?
