Higurashi: When They Cry It's a 4 season Psychological Horror that started airing in 2006 for two seasons, had a long hiatus, and continued with updated art style in early 2020s. It uses a lot of misdirection and red herring tricks in its story while keeping you guessing drip feeding subtle clues on what exactly is going on. Highly Recomend! (For trivia, the writer of it is responsible for the story of lately released Silent Hill f)

HIGHLY recommend Fruits Basket. My favourite anime to this day, and the concept is so unique. I rarely see people react to it unfortunately because it's a shojo, but I'd love if you got around to trying it out. Another good show if you're looking for a longer commitment is My Hero Academia. The final season was just released so it would be perfect timing too.

Buddy Daddies would be great for a short, but very enjoyable and emotional watch. To Your Eternity is incredible, deeply emotionally rich and just vastly unique to anything else, but also at times incredibly weird. Golden Kamuy is something I heavily recommend, though it’s also painfully odd in ways that I would say are worse than Jojo’s at times and is hard to start due to some early CG, but it’s a beautiful story. I’m not a huge lover of shonen but I think My Hero Academia is really solid and has some surprisingly subtle writing when it comes to the social commentary of villains, I need to pick it back up when it wraps up this season. And of course my all time favorite anime is Gintama. It’s just about impossible to describe and not what most expect but it’s a show I hope to share with so many.

So it might be a little difficult to watch because each season is on a different platform and you might need to sail the open seas for the movie, but I think Teasing Master Takagi-san would be right up your alley. It's a very innocent romantic comedy between two elementary school kids and each episode is made up of short interactions between the two main characters. The episodes are similar to the bonus episode of Dangers In My Heart, but have a vague through line. It's very cute and I promise you'll love it!
