However, I would like see if people would like me to do monthly requests again, as in I randomly pick a patron each month and they can request whatever character/peril they want.

Requests could be fun, as long as you're interested. Another option might be a suggestion box and then every month you do a poll, that way you know is something you'll be interested in drawing? Hope you feel better soon
