Since it's been a while since that first chapter was posted and I can't quite decide how I would rather proceed with a certain character, I'll just give you guys a chance to decide.
The Chapter's main focus is still a Surprise character, that won't be changing, but this poll will be deciding 'Neko-chans' character going forward.
Spoilers for Neko-chan's identity I guess... But if you haven't realized who the purple haired female ANBU in the Cat mask is... I only imagine you haven't read much Naruto FF.
Anyway, my original idea for Neko's character was sort of an obsessive guardian. Someone who was stationed to protect Naruto at a young age and subsequently became enamored with him (Little bit yandere). I always liked the kind of 'guardian angel' falls in love with their charge trope... but I realize that might not be best suited for Yugao Uzuki's character in Canon and Fanon.
The other option is the completely stoic guardian route. Someone who still cares for Naruto offers their complete subservience, and would die to protect him... but shows no outward emotion. Someone who understands Naruto's perversions and responsibilities with the CRA and will obey any command he gives her, including sexual commands, but does so stoicly. More of what you would expect from an ANBU. I think it could still be hot, and make her more of a different character from any other girls that may be entering.

I would certainly say she would warm up and express herself more as the series continues, but she would always have some aspect of at least 'trying to keep her composure' as an ANBU.

Okay before I vote seeing how you have actually mostly answered my question about the obsessive part when you say she's cold does she eventually warm up and express yourself a bit more like especially like you're in love making and stuff or what

The Sub Faction appears to be taking control, but I guess I'll swap my own vote to Obsessive. Might be fun if it also incorporates the stoicism element.

"Yandere" is a bit of strong word to use. I certainly didn't mean the 'lock you up in the basement forever' kind. I meant more of just someone who is very protective (As you would expect from an ANBU guard) and loves Naruto a lot because of so much time dedicated to protecting him. The vote thus far is surprisingly 50/50. We'll see how it goes tomorrow.

I'm torn. I like the "guardian angel falls for her charge" trope too... but I also really like the "person who's really bad at expressing outward emotions but on the inside loves very passionately" trope. I kind of wish I could get the one from the one and the one from the other and put them together, leaving out both the yandere and the sub-y parts.
