A/N: Didn’t really vibe with any of my first ideas for a Bleach Story. And I wanted to give the Hollow girls some attention, so here we are. Unfortunately, this series was one of the few series that I really enjoyed, but never wrote anything for. I’ve got a decent-sized stack of half-written, unpublished prompts in my catalog. Bleach was not one of them.
Please forgive me for taking some liberties with the powers, story arcs, and general world logic here. I’ve always loved Tier Harribel and Nelliel, and thought they didn’t get enough attention.
Chapter One: Unexpected Circumstances.
A rip in space.
Amidst a vast, barren desert, beneath a deep, endless night sky, a man stood alone. His black Shihakusho fluttered in the breeze that flowed over this empty plane. It was his Shihakusho, and the sword on his back that identified him as a Soul Reaper. Enemy of the Hollows. Coming here, to this world, was reckless, foolish, and arrogant.
But that was Ichigo.
Every step in this place was treacherous. He’d be challenged ceaselessly, until he prevailed or he died. This time, he was alone. He brought no allies to this hellish place. No one could save him should he falter. If he made a mistake, it would be fatal.
The death of him… and the death of Orihime.
Yet this tall, muscular orange-haired human, stood with a cocky smirk on his face. The large, cleaver-like blade on his back seemed to hum, ready for war.
He pulled up the brown cloak he wore around his shoulders, covering his mouth as the sand started to tremble around him.
Seconds later, beasts burst from the ground, shaped like monstrous animals, they attacked with claws, pincers, pronged tails, and sharp teeth.
His muscles flexed, eyes cold as ice. He swung his sword, burning every last ounce of anxiety, fear, worry, concern, all the emotions broiling in his heart. He let them all out with a cry.
“Gestuga… TENSHO!”
With a blinding flash of blue light, the desert was cleaved in two. A crescent moon of energy lash out, carving deep a path through sand, and the bones of Hollow Masks.
He let out a single breath, and sheathed his sword again, as all the Hollows around him turned to dust.
He was here, and he was ready. He was going to bring Orihime back, or die trying. Nothing would stop him.
“Orihime… I’m coming!”

Three Days Later
“Idiocy! Foolish, brash, blundering lunatic!”
It was strange to see Yoruichi so worked up. Urahara smiled to himself with a small grin on his face, covered by his fluttering fan.
Those piercing, amber cat eyes glared at him.
“You allowed this..! No, you co-operated! There’s no way the boy could get to Hueco Mundo alone. This was YOUR doing!”
He shrugged carelessly.
“Are you enjoying this?” Her eyes narrowed dangerously, and Urahara felt a feeling similar to a blade beneath his neck.
He swallowed and laughed nervously, “Haha, well… It’s what he wanted!”
Her eye twitched.
“Unbelievable..!” She hissed.
He snapped his fan closed and raised both hands innocently, “Hey, there’s nothing wrong with putting faith in the kid. He’s powerful, confident, and hell-bent on rescuing his friend…”
“We BOTH know he’s not ready for the forces there.”
Urahara smiled mysteriously, “You’d be surprised.” Yoruichi narrowed her eyes further, “He’s a rather impossible circumstance in the first place. I didn’t let him go on a whim. I genuinely believe he will prevail here.”
“What?”
Urahara laughed and fanned his face, looking pleased.
“Sigh…” Yoruichi rolled her eyes and turned away from him, “You’re impossible. To think I wasted my time helping train these kids. Then he ran off alone! Ugh… But… It’s only been three days. How much chaos could he have possibly caused?”
A shiver ran down her spine as the words slipped from her mouth. A foreboding feeling washed over her. She hid it well.
“Well… In that place…” She muttered to herself, “Even if he survived for three restless days. Hunted night and day, he will give out eventually… And then…”
Urahara’s eyes sparkled without worry.

Hueco Mundo - Same Time
Ichigo walked up the steps of ‘Los Noches’ the Hollow Night Palace. Every step was solemn, silent, and contemplative.
Three days he endured hell. But, like everything else, he prevailed. He struggled terribly, but overcame that weakness, and grew stronger. It went against nature, the rate at which he grew, but to Ichigo, that was normal. He did not even question it.
As he rose the last few steps, he finally came face to face with his quarry.
Sosuke Aizen, sitting upon his glorious ‘throne’ ruling as the King of the Hollows.
It was absurd.
It almost brought a smile to his face, the look on Aizen’s. That confident, proud, infuriating, ‘holier-than-thou’ smirk that he wore when blocking Ichigo’s sword with one finger was now completely gone. Now he wore a cold, serious, perhaps even angry look.
“Ichigo Kurosaki.” He said at first, as Ichigo slowly walked across the huge throne room, “I have so many things to say to you. I always imagined the greatest satisfaction in this meeting, once you’ve realized just how much CONTROL I've always had…”
“...” Ichigo met his gaze silently, not rising to provocation.
“But then…” Aizen balled up his fist, “You break into my home, cutting down the army I’ve delicately prepared here. That was okay. They were all useless anyway… but when my Espada was sent to put you down…”
His eyes finally revealed the anger lurking behind them, “Noveno (9th) Aaroniero… Octava (8th) Szayelaporro… Septema (7th) Zommari… Sexta (6th)... Grimmjow…” His finger tapped on the arm of his throne as his irritation grew, “All of them… Their Fraccion… you destroyed them…”
“Why?”
Aizen’s cold tone was broken by frustration, “WHY?!” He slammed a fist on his chair, “Why are you here? What drives you to such madness? Do you even know my goal? Why I am building this army? Why all these years were spent with meticulous planning, and precise execution?”
“Orihime.” Ichigo shrugged, “I do not care about anything else.”
“The girl… of course… I expected this too…” Aizen sagged into his chair, “The only mistake I made… perhaps… Oh yes, she’s here, and unharmed. Her power is… fascinating… necessary, I believe.”
“Now tell me…” Aizen settled his expression, and raised a hand. Behind him, Orihime was in a cage. To his side, stood his strongest, Nnoitra, Ulquiorra, Barragan, and the giant Yammy Llargo.
“Where are the others..?” Aizen muttered.
Ichigo ignored him. He met Orihime’s eyes. She was crying, and shouting at him, but he was too far to hear. He didn’t need to. Even if he couldn’t read her lips, he already knew what she was saying.
“Where… are… they?” Aizen whispered with barely kept rage.
The thing that infuriated Aizen the most… was not the ones that Ichigo had killed.
Ichigo turned his head, and looked back from where he had come.
One by one, figures dressed in boney white rose from the grand staircase, walking up to join Ichigo’s side.
The first, calm, confident, and bold. Bright yellow hair identified her at once. Her bronze skin setting her aside from the others. Perhaps the most eye-catching in the room, if not for her tall, amazonian build, her unique outfit stood out, even among the strange fashion of the Hollows. Her massive bust was tightly constrained by a shoulder jacket. A jacket which barely covered the full size of her round breasts, leaving her abundant under-boob plain to see.
“Tier Harribel.” Ichigo called her by name. He was thankful to her.
The next wore a cracked mask on the side of her head. Her soft curls flowed down her shoulders, eye-catching, with the vibrant green color of her hair. She had a voluptuous figure that rivaled Tier, though she was not as tall.
“Nelliel Tu Odelschwanck.” He couldn’t forget her name even if he tried. The woman that kept him sane, here in hell.
The next was short and petite. A living memory of a terrible battle. Her sparkling pink eyes were filled with tears when they met, but regained their cheerfulness in time.
“Lilynette Gingerbuck.” Ichigo muttered as he stared at her sadly. It was strange, how a Hollow could care so much for another. Perhaps it was because they were linked in some way. When the battle was over, and Coyote Starkk, her other half, was dying on the ground, she cried just like a human would. Ichigo would have never left her there.
“Emilou Apacci. Franceska Mila Rose. Cyan Sung-Sun.” The three members of Tier’s Fraccion.
It wasn’t just them. One by one, gathered in small groups, female hollows came up from the staircase one after another.
All of them gathered behind Ichigo.
Slowly, he turned back to Aizen.
Aizen’s face was filled with rage.
It was not the rampant slaughter of his men that pushed Aizen over the edge. It was the disruption of his plans… and the betrayal of his own army.
“I see…” Aizen’s hand went slack, leaving the crushed rubble of his armrest to crumble away, “So that’s how it is… I was wondering why Tier, Nelliel, even Lilynette were all refusing my summons… Now I understand. With them together… even Coyote could fall…”
Aizen rose to his feet, just as the gathered Arrancar took guarding positions at his sides. Ichigo now saw Gin and Kaname with him as well.
“Well then…” Aizen closed his eyes, “Let’s clean up this mess quickly now…” He reached for his blade, drawing Kyoka Suigetsu from its sheath.
That was Aizen’s first mistake. He, for a second, closed his eyes.
They snapped open again, and were shocked wide. He was staring straight into Ichigo’s calm, cold brown eyes. Ichigo’s hand was clasped around Kyoka Suigetsu. The sheer speed of the orange haired man’s movements sent a terrible shiver of uncertainty down Aizen’s spine.
“Yeah…” Ichigo said calmly, “They told me about that little trick too.”
Aizen’s guards shouted and drew blades, falling on Ichigo in panicked surprise.
“Die!” Uliquorra was first, his blackened, extended claws aiming for the human’s heart.
Clang~!
It was deflected… then completely overpowered. A long, thick hollow blade carried unbelievable strength, batting Ulquiorra away like a fly. Tier Harribel stood at Ichigo’s side, her calm monotone ringing in the palace, “You are no match for him.”
Uliqourra’s emotionless eyes didn’t blink, and gathered a blackish green ball of energy, firing immediately at this apparent traitor.
Again, it was matched by a flash of gleaming, blinding gold energy. And once again, Harribel overpowered him. With a loud explosion, Uliquorrra was blasted out the palace walls.
“Nor… are you a match for me.” Harribel said quietly. She was 3 and he was 4. It was the nature of this place that she would win… however, she was 3 BEFORE she met Ichigo… now..?
“BASTARD!”
At the same time, Nnoitra, in a rage, lashed out at Ichigo.
“AAAARRRGH!”
He screamed in utter agony, as he was stricken by overwhelming force. A moment later, he was impaled. Pinned to the palace walls by the power of a massive lance. He spat out blood as his lifeforce drained away, glaring up into the confident, gleaming hazel eyes of Nelliel.
“Heh.” She smirked at him, “That felt good.”
“Y-you..!” Nnoitra spat, looking up with crazed eyes, “You’re dead! Even if you kill me… you’re not strong enough for the others..!”
Nelliel grinned slowly, “You don’t need to worry about that. I didn’t attack you first because you were a threat. Rather, Harribel and I were getting rid of the nuisances… so the real battle could begin.”
Nnoitra’s eyes filled with rage, dismissed as a ‘nuisance’ as Nelliel ended his miserable existence.
“You…” Aizen’s voice trembled, as he met Ichigo’s eyes straight on, “You’ve exceeded my highest expectations… my estimations… Tell me… how far have you..?”
Ichigo didn’t blink, nor look away from Aizen, even as blades came down from his sides. Braggon. Yammy. Gin. Kaname. They all unleashed attacks with all their strength.
Ichigo breathed in a short breath. Their swords seemed to inch closer and closer, slowly. Then he quietly said, “Let’s do this together…”
“What?” Aizen breathed. For a moment, it felt to Aizen like the two were locked in time. This one second, drawn out to infinity. This mysterious kid… no, this man in front of him, who blew through all his trails, surpassed his expectations. He was so much more than Aizen could have anticipated. It was almost frightening. It was exciting.
For a second, Aizen believed that they would join hands. The strongest ally he could’ve ever imagined. Aizen’s heart skipped a beat in excitement… until Ichigo opened his mouth, and ruthlessly crushed it.
Ichigo confidently smirked, “I wasn’t talking to you.” Inwardly, Ichigo felt at peace, “Zangetsu.”
“Hahahahah! Now you’re acting like a real king! C’mon Ichigo this is the first time our thoughts have been so aligned. LET’S SLAY THEM ALL!”
Ichigo let out his breath.
A white and red painted mask covered half of his face.
“Bankai.”

The blank, unmoving horizon of Hueco Mundo was for once, disturbed. A huge dust cloud billowed in the air, sand blown far across the stretching, desolate plane.
The roars of Hollows that haunted this place perpetually, were strange. They were not cries of agony, hatred, or predation. They were filled with instinct. Fear.
The Hollow Night Palace was crumbling to the ground.
Hollows of every ‘tier’ ran fleeing from the raging battle that blasted shockwaves for miles all around the palace.
By the time the dust settled, the simple truth of the matter was revealed.
Aizen lay in the rubble of his ruined palace, bloody and defeated. Ichigo stood before him, undamaged.
Ichigo looked down at him with a neutral face, “It’s a shame Aizen. You had this whole time to puzzle what you missed… but even until the end, you couldn’t see it.”
It wasn’t something that Ichigo had planned. It was a stroke of luck, happenstance, or perhaps just nature at work.
When pushed to one’s limits, there are only two options. Overcome, or perish. That was a fundamental law of nature. Evolution.
Though, sometimes it happens in mysterious ways.
Looking off to the side, he spotted Tier Harribel. The blonde, amazonian woman was hard to miss. But if one looked closely, you would notice something missing… or rather, something that was supposed to be missing, that wasn’t.
Her bronze, toned navel was exposed beneath her tight Espada shoulder jacket. From the bottom of her breasts, down to the line of her skirt, was nothing but tight, smooth skin.
There was no sign of a Hollow’s hole.

And with her ‘hollow’ turned ‘whole’, he saw the remembrance of her emotions. Happiness, anger, joy, hurt, eagerness, disappointment… Arousal… and finally… rebellion.
It wasn’t just her emotions. Her reiatsu flooded like a broken dam, surging with newfound power. This was Aizen’s true downfall. Tier and Nelliel’s new evolution. The look on Aizen’s face as Tier and Nelliel tore through his ranks, his guard, his army… was priceless.
Aizen may have matched him. Hell, Aizen may have defeated him here… but when Ichigo was flanked by two deadly, ferocious Arrancar, who defended his life like it was their own… Aizen was overwhelmed.
“They’ve changed.” He said to himself, staring at the gathering of Hollow women slowly walking toward him, “No… I can’t call them Hollow anymore. They’re something new now. An Evolution beyond your precious, ‘Vasto Lord’?”
There was no response.
Ichigo sighed, and stuffed his hands in his pockets, “Well, that’s just how it is now. I’m not the kind of guy to think about it too deeply… besides…” Ichigo stared at the girls more closely, noticing smiles, cheers, and playful banter. The excitement of victory, “Looking at them… they look pretty Human to me.”

Later
After the battle, Ichigo reasoned he’d earned some well-deserved rest. After assuring Orihime time and time again that he was fine, healthy, and certainly not a dream she was about to wake up from… He put her to bed in one of the few remaining towers left standing in Las Noches.
He figured he had at least one more night before someone came to investigate how his little jaunt to Hueco Mundo went.
For now… He retired to rest.
But he was not alone.
“Mmm…” A delightful voice tickled his ear, “You fought so well, Ichigo…”
He felt arms around his neck, breath on his ear, and hands sliding down his chest. He turned his head to see the wavy green hair and hazel eyes of Nelliel. When he found her in the wastes, he never imagined what a bombshell she really was. It was only through sheer coincidence, in a bloody battle with the Eighth Espada that Nelliel was reverted to her true form.
That was still his first day in the wastes.
