Friday Night Dinner: Series 1 Episode 2
🕑 Added 2025-09-12 11:00:12 +0000 UTCA mildly uneventful episode but I'm sticking with it! I do love the characters already and think they're all very different which makes watching a lot easier. I have come to love the unpredictability of all these shows lol.

Hey so I'm a guy and I love soup especially home made soup my mum makes the best pumpkin soup its amazing also my cats so the same looking around suspiciously creeps me out especially late at night I love the show I've started this tradition where I watch a couple of episodes over the weekend especially on Friday nights 2/3 episodes when I found the time

Most of the episodes are funny but you get some that are hilarious. We are just sort of warming up. Even the voice actor for Jim didnt really know how Jim was getting his footing at how Jim should be played. His voice was different this episode to all the others as this was the first episode they filmed.

I've had loads of wee's in the bushes, but the closest I've had to a bite on the penis is a cobweb in the face.

I am that teenager who had to program the VCR to record shows for my mum.

I'm gonna sponsor the cat on the ledge. He's gonna win that fight! :D
Richard
Sponsor in this sense will be like a donation for him raising money for a charity. He could be doing a sponsored walk and looking for people to sponsor (donate) him money for doing so. Sponsored bungee, skydive etc. Although doubt Jim would be doing those!!

Soup is amazing - when you get home at 5am after a 15hr shift. Something easy to do when you really can’t be bothered or trust your bowels with another McDonald’s!!! Ps Paul Ritter’s (Martin) performance in this is even funnier after watching him play Anatoly Dyatlov in Chernobyl. RIP Paul, taken from us far too soon.

Friday Night Dinner is one of those shows that escalates over time. There are some really good episodes in the first few series, (*Cough* Mr Morris *cough*) but the hit rate really ramps up from s3 onwards as the premises get more outlandish
