Goblin update
🕑 Added 2022-09-23 05:50:01 +0000 UTCHappy to say I'm over 50% on Vile Little Goblin. It's nice working on something that isn't intensely long, though this one is still pretty dense (less so than Purrnando though). The above shot took a long time for the amount of screen time it has but I need to establish the scene.
Bit of a spoiler but I'm coming up to this one tomorrow.
Before I go on, if you didn't catch my last post, my patreon is now per month rather than per creation. Hopefully no one is caught out by that.
Above is a quiet little old timey town. I didn't go very hardcore on designing the town, they all had the same architect.
Hopefully Patreon won't ding me for showing goblin peen. He'll have a mosaic blur over his groin on youtube. Newgrounds will get the uncut version.
The texture doesnt come out in the gif but it will be visible in the video. It's intended to be a tapestry. I looked at pictures of the Bayeux tapestry for ideas. In my head the characters are black and white but looking at them now I think I will add some basic colour.
I haven't tried something like this before in a cartoon, it's a cool and simple technique to draw over a texture and set the layer to multiply.
The hammock looks a bit clean doesnt it, I might have to add some filth to it.
You haven't lived until you've milked a stalactite.
Also, I've signed an agreement to make some Fernando plush toys! No designs or any visuals to share yet, but it will hopefully happen before christmas.
