Changing from per project to per month.
🕑 Added 2022-09-06 22:57:52 +0000 UTCI’m going to change patreon to per month instead of per project.
Since late 2017 I have spent around half of my working time working on Bluey, a local kids show. My role on that show has ended, and I’m making cartoons full time again like I used to. I’d like to make large things and small things and not have to finish a project every month in order to make ends meet.
My goal is to not need to do ad reads. They helped fund my larger projects over the last few years, however I think they may harm the prospects of the video and cause less people to see the cartoon. I didn’t have an ad read on Purrnando and I don’t intend to have one on Vile Little Goblin. If the level of support remains high I won't have them in the future.
The only tier that will change is the Manwhore Industries Board Member tier. Instead of $100US per creation, it will be $50 per month. Patreon does not allow me to change the pledge amount of a tier that currently has patrons, so I've made a new board member tier. If you are a board member, please join the new tier, and sorry for the inconvenience.
Thank you all for your support up until now! I don’t know what I’d be doing if this way of funding cartoons didn’t exist. My output would be crummier that’s for sure. My medium term plan is to continue making high quality shorts and music videos. In a couple of projects time I plan to finish the Meth Orcs episode I started earlier this year.

Thanks Brian, my nieces seem to have moved on from it but my son has only just started liking it and its fun to experience episodes I worked on through him. For now he loves all of the wrestling and dancing parts.

Bluey is the only show my 2 year old will watch. We tried to break her from it, realized how much worse everything else was, and hooked her back on the show. :P My mind is blown that it has some Pleasure Island in its DNA. Now I can amuse myself by imagining the characters speaking with the voices of Fernando and Gooseman when she watches the whole series again this weekend. I hope this change helps you to keep giving us such terrific cartoons.

I rewatched raw latex 4 the other day because I wondered if it was time to make Raw Latex 5 and honestly I cringed a bit, I should have stopped after #1 or just done a better job.

You deserve it. Don't worry about it. If it eventually leads to the conclusion of raw latex and rage melon that be great (a man can dream)
