🕑 Added 2025-03-21 03:54:05 +0000 UTCthere is insane behavior on all counts in this one folks 🤣 it's so interesting because normally, I'm very much against any and all boyfriends telling girlfriends who they can and can't hang out with, HOWEVER, in this situation, I think Dean was well within his rights to ask her not to go based on what he witnessed after the whole Inn situation. plus, the comments that jess has made as well. also, with us as an audience knowing and feeling that there are potentially some little feelings brewing there. overall, I think it was disrespectful of jess to bid on the basket like that and I do think it was disrespectful of Rory to go knowing the full context of the situation. all in all, I don't think this is ending well for dean 🤣 BUT LOVED LUKE AND LORELAI of course 🩶

exactly, it's one thing if she genuinely just doesn't view him like that and isn't interested, than fine, but she 1000% is, so her using that in order to go anyway just feels disrespectful 🩶

Yes, you are right, it feels like Rory isn't ready to admit to herself that she has feelings for Jess. She's hiding behind "the rules", trying to justify the situation and why she "had" to go to the picnic with Jess.
