🕑 Added 2025-03-08 04:59:51 +0000 UTCwell well well. we had a slight argument between Rory and lorelai in this episode and it was deserved for sure, although, I can see both sides. all in all, I'm happy it worked out. also, this town is just full of helpful angels. sookie letting them come over at midnight, Luke offering to front the money and help fix it 🥹 also, pop off lane with the cheerleading 🎉

I can totally see everything you're saying and I agree! the way I was raised, I would NEVER just go tell someone something if my mom told me no, but my mom and I also did not have a friendship type vibe where I was treated like an adult who was consulted on any potential struggles so I can see why Rory made that decision as well. there doesn't seem to be clear boundaries between them at all and it makes sense she would want to help, thinking lorelai maybe just didn't want to ask for help! but Emily throwing that dig in at the end annoyed me so much 🤣

I love that Rory didn't tell her the scores she got 🤣 Jackson's pajamas were SENDING ME. and I also get that, but I think it's really sad if you can't tell your best friend that you might want to try something new in fear that you'll be judged ðŸ˜

I'm totally on Lorelai's side with this. As the end of the episode proves... you give a controlling parent inch and they will take a mile. Especially Emily Gilmore. Every favor comes with strings attached. Also maybe it's just the way I was raised but Rory specifically going against what Lorelai said and going to Emily really pisses me off every time I see it. Like girl!!! She specifically told you not to do something and you looked her in the eye and did it anyway.

Oh, I don't need to hear about termites crawling in noses Kirk. Paris always so competitive. I would be Lorelai, I would never stop thinking about the termites. I'm not laughing Jackson, I'm not laughing, I just saw the back of your pajamas, I might be laughing, I'm sorry. I get why Lane didn't tell Rory about being a cheerleader, Rory and Lorelai do have a tendency to be a little judgy.
