I adore roy and Jamie, I adore Rebecca and sam, and I adore the relationship growth between ted and Dr. Sharon. seeing ted be there for her traumatic time to help her out was so touching and I am glad they were able to open up to each other. I am so curious to see how the relationship between sam and Rebecca is going to develop, but I'm honestly loving the vibes so far and I NEED Keeley's reaction SO BADLY. I am so so proud of Jamie for punching his dad and standing up for him and so happy that roy went and hugged him but also held him, ugh my heart!! ðŸ˜ðŸ©¶

Roy and Jamie have a reluctant big brother/little brother relationship. Jamie annoys the shit out of Roy and Roy teases the shit out of Jamie. But although they'll never admit it Jamie idolizes Roy and Roy admires Jamie's skills and abilities. Roy is tough on him because he's been in Jamie's boots and doesn't want him to fail or waste his talents.

such a great episode. filled with revelations, sadness and the surprise of rebecca and sam! felt so bad for jamie.. but i'm glad that roy was there for him - cause he looks up to roy, even if he'd never admit it. it would have been even greater if other members of the team joined in as well for a "group hug" as they'd all just witnessed what had happened. heartbreaking about ted's dad - but i wont say anything more. the FA cup is a "knockout tournament" that all english mens teams can enter and is basically a separate thing from the premier league. premier league teams (the top tier of english football) and the lower levels (that teams get relegated to) can all apply to play in the FA cup each year. therefore, you can have teams from different divisions playing each other. in this case - manchester city were still in the premier league and richmond were still in the lower league. it has no bearing on what division the teams will play in the following season (ie the winner of the FA cup, even if from a lower division won't go up to the premier league the next season.) hope that makes sense.

Man City didn't get relegated but this was the FA semi-final. They talked about it at the beginning, if a team that wasn't in the premier league won the whole thing.

This episode is probably one of the best episodes ever written. I'm fixing to watch but know what's coming. My heart shatters for Jamie every single time. Not only was he embarrassed that his father was acting that way. Then to have his heart crushed with his father talking to him like that. Roy seeing what needed to be done and hugging Jamie was so wonderful and heartbreaking at the same time, especially when Jamie hugs him back.
