that's amazing! i assumed they didnt actually play in these games and that they'd splice the footage showing him kicking the ball.. and then showing the ball going into the goal. honestly thought it was either that, or they used professional soccer players for the actual football scenes. thanks for the context!

Did you ever think you would be cheering for Jamie Tartt? 📣 Phil Dunster, the actor who plays Jamie, actually made that goal from halfway across the pitch, so the reaction of the other players is genuine. Brendan Hunt (Coach Beard) had the unedited video of it on his Twitter, but he no longer has a Twitter account so it's gone. I'm sure the video is out there somewhere though. Can't wait till the next episode!
