I'm a bit stressed about Isak's relationship with Jonas at this point and am praying that we stay open in communication and don't let that friendship break. now, I loved the call backs to Romeo and Juliet in this episode with their outfits and the pool and the music. it was beautifully done, just stunning overall and we got our kiss!!! well KISSESSSS. now where do we go from here? something tells me sana is going to be the first one to sniff this out... 👀

ooooh I'll be looking forward to learning more about the age difference! omg yes, the men in WIGS 🤣 I totally agree, it is so rare to see a scene in this situation play out that way, usually the first kiss is a scary thing that takes time to process but he was so here for it and I adore that!! 🩶

I still remember when I saw that kiss scene for the first time seven years ago. I was 14 and it was the first same-sex kiss I ever saw on tv. It definitely meant a lot to me as a queer kid who didn't figure out her sexuality until years later 🥹. At the time I didn't even know why it felt so special to me, but it's stuck with me all these years and is still to this day one of my favorite bits of tv I've ever seen 💛 Btw when Even asked what time it was right before they left the “pre-party” Isak said it was 21:21. That time has some significance and will show up again later in the season, so again just something to keep in mind for the future 😊

one of my favorite kiss scenes in this show and in any show! its just so beautiful and the romeo juliet reference is perfect. so that scene where they were talking about ages was basically revealing that even is actually 2 years older than isak, not one. isak assumed it was 1 year because he's only a grade higher than him. without spoiling....there is some significance to that info that i will get into later! Even in that wig reminds me of wille in THAT wig LMAO. i love how isak didnt get all scared and shocked when Even kissed him first because thats common for tv shows/films where the character is in the closet like isak. so beautiful to see isak go in for the kiss next (: Even definitely seems to be a lot more confident in whatever he does than isak which creates an interesting dynamic between the two. it feels like Even helps isak come out of his shell more (in regards to his sexuality but also just aspects of his personality in general). you can see the tension between isak and jonas and it makes me so sad to see it, because isak is pushing jonas away even though he does not mean to.
