Even though I missed the deadline by a few days, thankfully, I don't have to apologize for my laziness this time either. I worked really hard, and it was incredibly difficult.
I often joke that when I procrastinate, I'll just give up my human rights later. Well... I think that's more than half the story this week. From Tuesday until today, my days were all about eating, working, and sleeping. Except for a stress relief period in between, I can confidently say I devoted all my energy to my work. Honestly, I don't think this style of not being able to divide up my work was a good one...
Yes. I misjudged the deadline, and I sacrificed most of my vacation and a significant amount of time I should have spent studying for exams.
I think I should be the one who feels most sorry for myself. I don't think I should talk about this anymore. It makes me sad...
With Barbara's slightly creepy yet somehow appealing facial expression, this project is finally over.
Unfortunately for some, Lumine lost again.
Personally, I find her charming when she loses, and for practical reasons as well. When the facial modeling of an opponent's screaming character isn't particularly appealing, I'm more inclined to consider her defeat.
Of course, this time it was just an excuse.
Lumine had become quite skilled through previous experiences, and thanks to that, I was able to keep her visible health ratios consistent... but once again, she chose the wrong opponent.
Like Nilou and Mualani, whom she previously faced, Barbara is a Hydro character whose primary stat is HP. I didn't intend for this to be the case from the beginning... but somehow it just happened.
If she were to consider more than just her outward innocence when choosing her enemies, I believe she could definitely win again someday. While pursuing a completely weak concept would be nice, I like surprises. The possibility is always open!
Finally, here are my plans for the project.
My first fingering piece was pretty good, in my opinion, but it's not something I'll make often. If it weren't for a plugin that makes finger joints easier to manipulate, I might have given up...
I don't have any detailed plans, but as always, I'll try new things, even if they're small. I always have a desire for camera movement, but I'm exhausted after implementing all the movements, ugh. I'd like to do a footjob battle, a more natural scissoring, a 69... Even if it's not just a simple pose, I'm also a bit ambitious in terms of direction. Of course, as always, I'll make slow but steady progress.
I don't have any additional plans for October, too. I have two more exams to take, aside from the midterms. I'll probably resume work at the end of October, or in November with a high probability.
I've said enough already... Anyway, I'm tired, so I'll stop here.

Barbara's creepy expressions were a big plus and I agree, Lumine does have a charm when she loses (especially with well you do her desperate and moaning expressions!). Your future plans sound very good, looking forward to them. Sorry to read about the stress you're experiencing - striking a balance between commitments is difficult and I hope you're able to find stability between your responsibilities. But in the meantime... get some good sleep!

it's peak don't worry about delaying deadlines and slowing things down if you need to, we can absolutely see the detail that comes from the effort you put in and I think most people are happy to wait a bit longer if it means you maintain the quality of your work without messing up the rest of your life

Hope to see you again soon. The development of your work is getting more and more impressive. Although the result surprised me a bit (I thought you would do an ending where Lumine wins to make up for the previous loss), it is still a good product.
