The new 3DIO binaural microphone is extremely sensitive... to the point that it's taking a lot of practice to get used to it. It's actually so sensitive that avoiding background noise will mean that I'm extremely limited in the times of day that I can actually use it.
Today's two audios (M4M and M4F on the same theme) are improvised works that are effectively live-testing. I want to see how you all like the ASMR qualities of this new microphone, as it's quite different to how I've worked before.
Some of you might know, my job immediately before becoming a VA involved working in television broadcasting, where many of the features of ASMR would be considered 'errors' that are inappropriate for air. Things like mouth clicks and plosives are generally edited out, so I really have to fight my old professional instincts to post work like this.
In a few minutes, I'll post a poll where I want some feedback on how you feel about this, I'd really appreciate if you took a second to check it out.
