C100電子版開始しました

【C100同人誌：オトナのせいにして】の電子版の配信を開始しました。
電子版はだいたい1年くらいズレての配信になるのですが、【C101同人誌：オトナの誘惑】は通販在庫が市場から無くなりつつあるので、比較的早いタイミングで電子化するつもりです。
なお、オトナの誘惑のBOOTH在庫はすでに無くなっています。
現在はメロンブックスの通販をご利用下さい。
オトナの誘惑はとらのあなで通販しなかったので、3割ほど発行部数が少ないんですよ。
コロナの後から、とらのあなは突然同人誌が売れなくなってしまいました。
以前の1/4？1/3?そのくらい。
イベント頒布数はそこまで大きく変わってないし、メロンブックスはむしろ数字が伸びているから、コロナ後に同人誌の人気がなくなった…とか、ウチの本そのものに問題がある…といったことでは必ずしも無さそうで、この数字の突然の変化はやはり店舗の消滅が効いてるんでしょう。
同人誌は発行直後は通販がメインなのでリアル店舗の有無はそこまで影響無いんですが、時間が経つと通販は検索に埋もれてしまうためほとんど動かなくなり、リアル店舗の一本足打法になっていきます。
令和の今でもリアル店舗。
電子の移行が遅い同人誌ならではです。
ゆえにリアル店舗が無くなってしまったとらのあなは委託する意義が激減してしまった。
返本までの期間も大幅に短くなったし。
ひと昔前はあんなに強気だったとらのあながなぁ…
そんなの自己責任だろ、委託してもらって偉そうに言うな。
などと感じる人もいるかもしれませんが、僕のように商業紙でも仕事してる作家は、商業の単行本を作った時にとらのあなに優先的に特典を作るんですよ。
しかもタダで。
そういうのを依頼したり、受けたりする背景には
「同人誌で世話になってる」というニュアンスが双方多少なりとも含まれているわけで…ようは程度の差こそあれ「もちつもたれつ」なわけで。
いきなり数字がガツーンと減ったり、発注するだけしてさっさと返本をどかーんと返してきたりするのは
「おいおい」
と、正直思うよね。

We have started to distribute the electronic version of [オトナのせいにして].
The electronic version is usually distributed after about a year of delay, but since the mail order stock of [オトナの誘惑] is disappearing from the market, we are planning to produce the electronic version a little earlier.
The BOOTH stock of [オトナの誘惑] is already gone.
Please use the mail order service of Mellon Books.
I did not sign a consignment contract for [オトナの誘惑] at TORANOANA this time, so the circulation of this book is about 30% less than usual.
After COVID19 became popular, the book did not sell well at TORANOANA.
It is about 1/4 of what it used to be.
The amount of books I distribute at events has not changed significantly, and at MERONBOOKS, on the contrary, the numbers are growing, so I do not think it is because the market for coterie magazine has shrunk or that there is a problem with my books themselves.
The root cause is probably that TORANOANA has lost all of its stores.
Immediately after the book is published, the presence or absence of a store does not have that much of an impact because the main market is mail order, but as time goes by, on the contrary, stores become the main market.
Even now, in 2021, stores are still necessary.
This is a phenomenon unique to doujinshi, where e-books are not popular.
Hence, the significance of consigning books to Toranoana, which no longer has a store, has decreased dramatically.
Besides, they are quick to return books.
I never thought that TORANOANA, which was so reliable a long time ago, would fall so far behind.
It is own fault.
Don't talk big when you're being commissioned.
Some may feel this way, but authors like me, who also write commercially, deliver special offers to TORANOANA on a priority basis when we produce comics.
And it's for free.
The reason behind requesting and accepting this kind of work is that it includes the intention of mutually influencing each other through doujinshi.
In other words, it's a "win-win" relationship.
However, I am honestly disappointed when the number of sales suddenly drops drastically, or returns the product after a short period of time.
