The focus of the showcase will be on software for Nintendo Switch coming out this year. Beyond a few upcoming titles, we don't really know what games Nintendo has coming, so it's exciting to think about what could be just around the corner.
With such a long lifecycle, most Nintendo franchises have already had one, if not more, games released on the platform - but there are others that have yet to make their Nintendo Switch debut. If you were able to confirm a new title in a series that has yet to have an original game on the Switch in the June Nintendo Direct, what would it be? I'd love to see Mario and Luigi make an appearance on the Switch! While Nintendo hasn't hinted at the future of this series, it seems they're in a renaissance of RPGs with hits like Thousand-Year Door and Super Mario RPG. It's hard to imagine they'd exclude the Mario and Luigi series, given its key place in their RPG lineup.
