Finally finished the updated designs of the inside of the cathedral since I felt they needed more pizzazz but the overall structure is still the same. I'll be starting to ink the backgrounds in January too! Gotta get BGs colored soon since so much relies on having those color keys.
The rest of the month I got more stuff ready for my animators including turnarounds for the NPCs getting walk cycles, Dan's run cycle key references and other versions of his sprite I'll need. Dan's sprite has 8 different variations in chapter 1 and they all get walk/run cycles π¦ Esther has 3 in comparison....

More Dan sprite guides!In January I'll also be starting production on the animated cutscenes! It's not a ton, I doubt chapter 1 cutscenes add up to 30secs altogether, but it includes a bunch of moving parts. I also haven't shared any music being composed bc it's a surprise until the game's closer to release~ :3
Side note: I found out it's possible to read old disqus comments back when I had them under UD pages and after walking thru memory lane reading them, a lot of them are super funny but the funniest ones were comments hoping Esther and Dan would go back to a healthy relationship and to that I say lol, lmao
