My Cute Wish: Chapter 3 script

The chapter starts with Will taking a shower, washing his long blonde hair with his eyes closed. He then opens his eyes and appears to be in deep thought about something. The reader then sees a dialogue of Will talking about the past few days since his meeting with Ayano as it shows different scenes showing how he’s tried getting used to being a girl.
~Will: “It’s hard to believe it’s already been a few days since we went over to Ayano’s place to figure out a way to fix this. It’s even harder to believe that I’m starting to get used to this… body.”
It now shows him outside of the shower, looking at himself in the mirror wrapped in a towel. He pauses, blushing a little as he looks at this very lovely girl wearing only a towel standing in front of him. He sighs, and continues talking to himself as he starts to get dressed.
~Will: “Katsuo left earlier today for a couple days as he goes to see his parents, so it’s just me here at the apartment. While he’s gone I’m supposed to go shopping with Ayano to get new clothes.”
A scene showing Ayano talking about going shopping then appears, showing a perverted look in her eyes as Will looks at her with a nervous look. It then goes back to Will, now just slipping on a shirt he borrowed from her with a worried look as he remembers that moment with her.
~Will: “She really is scary sometimes…”
Will then smiles gently, clearly thankful that he has Ayano as a friend. He places the last piece of his outfit on his head, a red band with a bow. He again is looking back at himself, now fully dressed.
~Will: “She’s also someone I’m thankful for, and I’m glad she’s in my live right now. Well, I guess it’s time to go meet up with her and get this over with.”
He opens the front door and walks outside. He takes a deep breath and thinks to himself:
~Will: “Alright, let’s do this.”
He closes the door behind him and the last scene in the room is a closeup of a picture of Will and Katsuo hanging out as buds before all of this happened.
The next scene is Will walking down a sidewalk, getting a few stares from guys which is currently making him uncomfortable but he’s dealing with it. He keeps walking and hears a few scuffling noises off to his right in an alleyway. In there he sees two rough looking punks standing over someone who he can’t quite make out. He obviously doesn’t want to get involved in what is probably a gang-related beat up, just like everyone else around him, but curiosity causes him to take a closer look. That’s when he realizes who the person is on the ground and shock and anger fill his eyes. On the ground is a small girl with short black hair, her clothes old, torn, and dirtied. She tightly holds onto a brown paper bag as these two punks lean over her, perverted looks on their faces. One of them grabs the paper bag from her, as she quickly tries to stand back up to get them back only to be shoved back down again.
~Punk#1: “What’s in the bag?”
~Punk#2: “Nothing but some shitty apples man.”
The punk then throws the bag on the ground, causing a couple of the few apples inside to roll out. The young girl then hurries to try and grab them and put them back in the bag. The first punk leans down as she does this and grabs her by the hair, lifting her up slightly.
~Punk#1: You don’t need those apples girl, how about you instead come hang out with us for a bit? We can have a lot of fun…”
At this point the girl is in tears from the pain of her hair getting pulled and being extremely scared. Thankfully, however, as the punk leans closer toward the girl, he gets punched in the face and is sent flying. The girl, now relieved from his grasp, looks up at the person who just saved her. Her eyes suddenly sparkle as a light from what seems to be the heavens shines down on this being, who is none other than Will, who looks clearly enraged by the actions he just saw. He then looks down at the girl, the rage temporarily leaving his face and is replaced with a gentle, loving smile.
~Will: “Are you okay?”
The girl smiles, tears falling down across her cheeks as she nods and looks down to grab her paper bag more tightly. Will pats her head, then looks back up at the punks who at this point are on the other side of the alley, one picking up the other that was slugged and both looking extremely confused and pissed at this random girl who just showed up and was able to send one of them flying. They then both look at his decently large chest and the perverted looks come back to their faces. The young girl then gets up and runs behind Will, still very scared but finding some comfort in her savior.
~Punk#1 “You’ve got one hell of a right swing there Toots. He looks back down at Will’s chest. One hell of a rack too. I can go ahead and tell you you’re not gonna get another one of those off again. So, hows about you come play with us for a bit and we’ll forgive your bimbo actions.
The second punk walks up to Will, licking his lips as he stares at Will’s chest. Will, now holding one arm back toward the young girl to protect her, stands there with a serious, angered look as he looks at the punk getting closer.
~Punk#2: “Yeah, come play with us for awhile babe. I promise you’ll like what we have for ya.”
The second punk puts his arm out and attempts to grab Will’s chest. He does and he blushes as a super perverted look shows on his face, thinking this girl is about to give in to him. However, moments later some fist uppercuts him and he too, is sent flying. The first punk looks on in shock as Will stands there, his fist still raised and what seems to be a fire burning in his eyes. Both punks, extremely pissed at this point, are getting ready to fight. Will then turns to the girl, and squats down to meet her at eye level. The girl (who is maybe in junior high, and honestly isn’t that much shorter than Will, as she comes up to his chest when standing side by side). Looks at him with a worried look. He gives her that same gentle smile to reassure her however.
~Will: “Don’t worry, this will be over quick. I just need you to close your eyes and stay behind me, okay?
The girl nods, Will again pats her head and turns back around to face the punks. We now see the situation from the young girl’s perspective as she sees Will standing in front of her, facing the two punks who are now about to charge her.
~Punk#2: “You’re gonna regret that you cocky b***h!
Both punks now charge Will, their fists at the ready and the young girl quickly closes her eyes. All is now black as all the girl can hear is some scuffling noises, grunts, and finally someone throwing something on bags of trash. She then hears Will’s soft voice again.
~Will: “It’s okay now, you can open your eyes”
The young girl opens her eyes, to see the punks are now gone, and only her savior squats there in front of her giving her that same gentle smile. Will is now a little dirtied, but has no significant injuries anywhere from what the girl can see. Tears yet again begin to swell up in her eyes and she quickly lunges forward toward Will, knocking him down onto his butt and continues to cry tears of joy into his chest. Will just continues to smile and holds her with one hand and pats her head with the other.
~Will laughs a little and says gently: “Hey! You’re going to get my clothes all wet! What’s your name?”
The girl looks up at him, wiping the tears from her eyes and sniffling a little while still clinging onto the paper bag.
~Yuki: “My name… my name is Yuki.”
~Will: “Yuki huh? That’s a really cute name!”
Yuki blushes shyly, trying to hide a slight smile but Will can still see it plain as day.
~Will thinks to himself: “C-cute…”
Will stands up, helping Yuki up too. Yuki at this point is blushing even more, trying so hard to hide her face in the cutest way possible. Will now finally notices how tightly she’s holding onto the bag filled with now dirtied apples.
~Will: “Hey, what are those apples for if you don’t mind me asking? They seem really important to you.”
Yuki looks back up at Will, her blushing gone back down a little. She looks back down at the worn and a little torn bag, and starts to tear up a little.
~Yuki: “I was going to pick up some apples for the younger kids back at the orphanage I live at… but I only had enough for so many and now most of these are dirty…”
The tears start slowly flowing down Yuki’s face again, she clearly tried so hard to get these apples home to everyone and just went through the most terrifying experience of her life. Will, trying not to get emotional himself at this point, leans back down and lifts her chin up gently, wiping the tears from her eyes himself.
~Will: “How about we get you some brand-new apples? This time more than enough for everyone and I’ll make sure nothing happens to them or you?”
Yuki gives him a surprised look, as if to see if he’s being serious. Then she smiles in a way that she probably has never smiled before. She nods her head with the biggest smile and little tears still in her eyes.
The next scene shows Will and Yuki walking side by side. Yuki is holding a bigger bag of apples and Will is holding two bags. They make it back to the orphanage and all the kids are excited to see Yuki and this new stranger holding the apples they have long waited for. Yuki and Will hand out the apples, and Yuki goes to play with the other kids for a while as the owner of the orphanage, an older “fluffy” woman who has a gentle look about her, talks to Will about what happened. After a brief conversation, they both look toward Yuki and the other kids as they continue to chat.
~Woman: “I thank you from the bottom of my heart for jumping to Yuki’s rescue. Unfortunately, it’s not often you’ll see anyone helping out a stranger, more over one from an orphanage.”
~Will: “There was no way I could leave her in the situation she was in. In any case I’m just glad she’s home safe now.” Will remembers Yuki’s joyfully-teared smile, and smiles himself. He then turns to the woman who turns back to him. “So if I may ask, how long has Yuki been here?”
The woman’s smile fades, as she turns back to Yuki who’s laughing and having a good time.
~Woman: “Yuki’s been here ever since she was about 5. Her mother was a drug-addict and alcoholic who left her here after not wanting to try and raise a child anymore. I’m honestly thankful she left Yuki here, because not long after we found bruises all over Yuki’s body from when she was beaten by her mother.”
~Will: “That’s… I don’t even know what to say. I can’t honestly believe it.” He then looks toward Yuki as well.
~Woman: “What’s worse, now Yuki is 16 and at most we can only keep her for a few more months before we have to let her go”
Will looks back at the woman with a shocked expression. The woman, not even turning to him notices and continues to talk with a sad look.
~Woman: “Trust me, I love her with all my heart. She’s the sweetest thing that’s ever lived here and I would do anything to keep her around if I could. Sadly, the orphanage only allows kids up to her age to stay. No one’s come to adopt her because we have to release her background and they worry she’ll follow in her mother’s footsteps.
The woman starts to shed tears, but continues.
~Woman: “But look at her, there’s no way she’d be anything like her mother! Yuki is her own person, Yuki is Yuki!”
Will looks back at Yuki, and a couple tears fall down his cheeks before he wipes them away and turns back to the woman.
~Will: “I may know someone who can take her in, I just need a month or two”.
The woman looks back to Will, hope filling her eyes as she too wipes her tears away.
~Will: “Until then, do whatever you can to keep her here.”
The woman nods and smiles.
~Woman: “Thank you, thank you so much- … I’m sorry I don’t think I caught your name, what was it?”
Will pauses for a moment. He can’t use his name here, it wouldn’t make sense. He had to come up with a temporary name for now, but what name? Only one came to mind… the one his mother would have named him if he was born a girl…
~Will: “My name… is Jessica.”
~Woman: “Jessica… what a lovely name.”
Will gives off a fake smile. He doesn’t like to have to call himself this, but what choice does he have right now?
From there, the next scene is Will waving goodbye towards the Woman, Yuki, and the Orphanage. As he turns around and starts walking away, he suddenly feels a tug on his shirt. He looks back and sees Yuki, looking down while gently hanging onto his shirt. He smiles, turns around and leans down.
~Will: “Do you want to hang out with me today?”
Yuki looks back up at him, her eyes sparkling with excitement as she nods. Will looks back at the Woman, who is smiling and nods. Will stands back up.
~Will: “Shall we go then, Yuki?”
Yuki quickly goes to Will’s side and grabs his hand. Surprised at first, he looks down at this super happy girl with short black hair and smiles again. He holds her hand tightly and they start walking toward where Ayano is.
The next scene they are at a big mall, walking toward where he was supposed to meet Ayano. They get there, and there they see Ayano, her arms crossed and tapping her foot as if she’s annoyed and impatient. She looks over and sees Will, and with a pout quickly marches over to him.
~Ayano: “WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?! YOU’RE SO LATE! I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR YOU FOR HOURS!”
~Will raises his hands nervously and tries to explain: “I’m sorry! I kind of ran into a situation and it took a while longer than I thought it would!”
~Ayano shakes her head: “There is NO EXCUSE that would justify you being this la-“
Ayano stops suddenly, finally noticing the young girl now hiding behind will peeking over his side looking at this scary pink-haired girl. Ayano stands there for a moment, then she gets that pervy look in her eyes which scares Yuki even more and she now completely hides behind Will. Ayano looks back to Will.
~Ayano: “Who’s this adorable little thing?”
Will gently motions Yuki forward, letting her know it’s okay and she comes out, still clinging to Will fiercely.
~Will: Her name is Yuki, she’s-
Ayano holds a finger to Will’s lips and smiles.
~Ayano: “No need to explain, I know the type of person you are. I just needed her name”
Will smiles back, then looks to Yuki, who’s currently giving a glare at Ayano. A cute glare, but a glare none the less. Ayano leans down toward her at which Yuki clings even more to Will.
~Ayano: “I’m guessing you really like her(referring to Will) huh? She’s definitely a good catch, I’ll tell you that right now!”
Yuki mumbles something under her breath
~Ayano: “What was that? It’s okay I don’t bite, you can talk to me too!”
Yuki pauses for a moment, continuing to glare at Ayano until finally she says:
~Yuki: “She’s mine, you can’t have her!”
She clings to Will as closely as she possible can, almost squeezing him to where he can’t breathe. Ayano, shocked at first, but then quickly see’s what’s happening and grins at Will, who’s currently trying to breathe. Ayano grabs his arm, to which Yuki angrily freaks out about. Ayano looks to Will.
~Ayano: “Well? Shall we start our day then, Love?”
Ayano then looks down to Yuki and gives her an evil grin. Yuki looks back at her with an angry pout and it’s as if they are having some sort of battle. Will just stands there, short of breath and getting squished by these two girls.
~Will thinks to himself: “What have I gotten myself into…?”
Will looks toward the store they are currently standing in front of, and it’s a massive store filled with clothes. He sighs, and he drags himself in, Ayano and Yuki still glaring at each other and clinging onto him.
Hours go by, and there is a montage of the three of them trying on clothes, eating snacks, walking around the mall, and finally going into a photo booth. All throughout these scenes Ayano and Yuki continue to fight over Will, but overall, they all seem to be having a good time. They now stand outside the mall, the sun beginning to set and the sky turns orange. Will and Yuki are looking at Ayano, all of them holding bags assumed to be filled with clothes, as they are about to head their separate ways for the day.
~Ayano: “What a day! I’ll make sure to hang this up somewhere special!” She flaps the photo strip from the photo both in her hand. She turns around and starts jogging away, looking back and waving. “it was nice meeting you Yuki! I’ll catch you later Will!”
Will quickly gives Ayano a shocked looked that she called him by his real name, which she notices and covers her mouth, but giggles and keeps jogging. Yuki, confused, looks up to Will and he looks back at her and gives her a smile and a shrug. Yuki smiles back and dismisses it at they start walking back to the orphanage. Will lets out a slight sigh of relief.
Will then drops off Yuki at the orphanage, and waves to her as he walks away. She waves back and looks down at the photo strip. She shows her super cute smile once again and holds the strip close to her chest as she looks back up to Will walking away.
Will finally gets back to his room, closes the door behind him and again sighs.
~Will: “What a long day, so much happened that it’s honestly hard to believe.”
Will makes his way toward the couch, and lays down. One arm over his head while the other hangs off, holding onto the photo strip. He holds the strip up above him, looking at the photos and smiles.
~Will: “A long day, but a good one. One that I’ll definitely never forget.”
Will puts the strip down on a table, yawns and stretches, and walks away.
~Will: “I think it’s time to call it a night, I’m going to have quite the story to tell Katsuo when he gets back.”
As he walks away, we see a close up of the photo strip, which is lying next to the photo of Will and Katsuo we saw earlier. This is the end of the chapter.
