Hi all,
I wish I had a better estimation of exactly how much is "done" (it's debatable because there's a lot of footage that is done but doesn't have its voice acting done, etc.)
Anyways, I am not really great at estimating when stuff can get done. I have some IRL things to attend to, but thankfully haven't really taken any sick days this entire project at all so I think it's earned.
I'm trying to get all of the difficult parts of the video done before I'm distracted in early March. I think this can maybe get done. However, I was taken aback by how much work I had to do when it came to voice. This project, actually, has an extremely long amount of voice acting compared to other projects, so it's gonna take me a second to get all of that done. It probably has more voice than my second Metal Gear Rising video, so that plus a lot of technical issues is really getting me. My estimates were a little too ambitious.
I finished the thumbnail. Sadly, this and getting all the stuff to the voice actors took an entire day of work. I'm spending another just implementing it all, might have to spend another doing the same. So, hopefully, that's not going to massively delay my video by stopping most of the work before I have to take a few days off and result in a delay of like a week or something.
From this point on I don't think I have to excessively justify delays though and keep making overly confident estimates. I am working hard every day and taking enough breaks, it's just that I hate being held back by busywork! 😊
