Hi everyone,
The video is going to be delayed by a few days because I had to fix some weird plumbing issues in my house and I couldn't make the video while the water was shut off, lol.
The progress that I have made is slow, steady, and very very solid. I like the editing in this clip for instance. What I would like to discuss are my plans for the future.
I'm very thankful that I get to make this video. I like this format, and I think that in the future I want to make 14 minute videos more often. I might even do it for Dragon's Dogma 2. But that's a big maybe.
In the future, I am thinking that I should get an editor using the Patreon funds to pay them. It's just that this is a huge process with a LOT of overhead. For me, there would be a lot of training, and getting our projects to work together would be a big hassle because I would need to accomplish the synchronization of possibly terabytes of files. For instance, this video's footage is 2.2TB on disk currently, and I'd likely have to pay for a bunch of other things. This is for the future though. Before I do that, firstly, I believe I must prove my channel is productive and can work well. My last 4 videos have done poorly (compared to each other and previous), and although this is expected slightly, I want to begin turning that around before I go off and throw money at a problem.
This being said, I will mostly be working on passion projects I love, like this, Dragon's Dogma 2, and Elden Ring, regardless of their popularity as videos, for the next half a year or more. And I will likely do this myself, because I want them to be my unadulterated creative vision and have a lot of fun dramatics.
